Syrio kicking all sorts of Lannister guard ass with a wooden sword. How many did he hold off in the books? 7? Going to be epic.

Also, hopefully Tyrion tells the story about his first wife.

The actress who plays Sansa and her family adopted Lady after production was finished.

That story never fails to make me smile.

I'm not sure if we'll be seeing Roose this season; I certainly can't find any casting information about him. We will be seeing The Greatjon though, being played by Clive Mantle (AKA Little John in Robin of Sherwood. Which is aces.

    Don't forget
House Manderly who I believe are described as the "fattest men ever seen" and they have huge walrus mustaches.

Also Bale, any of those things you listed would make for a great episode. The chance that they might all be in the next episode is giving me a huge nerdboner.

I have not seen Robert of Sherwood, so I watched that youtube clip and as soon he appeared from behind the tree like BAM, I thought "Oh yeah. That's a Greatjon right there." Which is good, because for a horrible moment I thought it was going to be the guy from Prince of Thieves who looks like an Ewok.

    file.ashx?image=13174&height=272&width=272

But yeah, I'm really looking forward to the whole "King in the North" plot and everything leading up to it. And more Tywin.

Looking back on Episode 7, it's probably my favorite so far. And I think that could be because it deviates from the books as much as it follows the books:

Jaime and Tywin - not in the books at all, should be Tyrion an Kevan, and Tywin's dialog and motivations change quite a bit
Cersei and Ned - should take place in the evening I'm pretty sure
Littlefinger and Whores - not in the books, put in for Requisite Titty Count (but really, littlefinger wouldn't have ever blabbed like that)
Theon and Osha - not in the books, but nice to see Theon getting put in his place
Jon and Sam seeing the horse - not in the books
Ned and Robert, dying- pretty much directly from the books, but Joff wasn't there
Dany and Drogo - I don't think they have this conversation quite at this point
Jorah and Dany at the winesellers - pretty close to the book
Boys taking their vows from Mormont - pretty sure this takes place indoors, maester aemon isn't the commander of the stewards
Renly and Ned - pretty much from the books, except Renly doesn't mention he wants to be king
Littlefinger and Ned - directly from the books, although the dagger does a good deal more spinning
Sam and Jon taking vows - I think this was at night again, and that there was only one or two other rangers there from what I remember, and obviously they find the cache of dragon glass, not the hand
Drogo deciding to take over the Seven Kingdoms
Confrontation at the throne room - directly from the books
