    you're right

next time someone says getting mad at x is like getting mad at some completely unrelated thing

instead of responding with a reasonable discussion of why it isn't I will just call them a silly goose

Speaking of Disneyfying MLP, did anyone else notice that Party of One was basically taking Niel Gaiman's criticism of children's cartoons (specifically Disney Channel cartoons), and turning it into something creepy?

Coraline was pretty distinctive in that it was honestly pretty scary when it wanted to be, but not too much to overwhelm the young audience.

We need more scary stuff aimed at kids. That is a sorely lacking category.

Is it a kids' show? Or is it a grown-ups' show that it's traditional to have kids watch?

Huh. Seinfeld and ponies don't seem to mesh well. Maybe it's all the quick cuts?

Totally want a Coraline-esque sewn pony right now.

    It's a family program

Thank you for using these words.

So many people think that if a show is okay for kids to watch, then it must automatically be a "kids' show" with no redeeming qualities for an older audience.

Many of these movies or shows are for families, not directed absolutely only at kids.

That's not to say that there aren't shows or movies that are just for kids, but not all of them are.

Why hasn't anyone made a PMV for a Beatles song yet? "A Little Help from My Friends" would be the obvious choice.

the only two problems I have with more polka ponies, is that 1) at this rate the person doing them will be out of songs before the new seasons (and thus some of the scenes are seeing overuse) and 2) the person doing them appears to be engaging in the "shipping" side of the fandom. or maybe I'm just getting more cynical with that last one.

It is a good movie but sometimes people aren't able to afford to see movies until they have been out of theaters for a while and they get a code for a free rental on Redbox, SO BACK OFF

you guys really missed out on seeing Inception in the theater

    the whole BWAAA

    BWAAA

also I would argue that it doesn't matter if it's been spoiled for you already, it's all about the visuals and the performances of the actors

There's a good deal for 9 bucks for two movie tickets on Living Social today that I may take advantage of a couple of times, so I may actually get to see Thor and Pirates in the theater.
