I want to send out a big thanks to the folks who organized and attended PAX East. I brought my 5 year old son, which I was a bit nervous about, and he had a blast. It's awesome to see a community that appeals to and welcomes people of all ages.
He was so excited after seeing the cosplay PAX that he spent several weeks working on a Link costume with my wife and I and was actually featured on Kotaku today! Just wanted to let you know that the work you put into to PAX is not only fun for us grown ups, it's also teaching our kids that it's ok to be a geek!
On a related note, if you have kids that want to go to PAX East, Sunday was a fantastic day to go. The crowds were a bit smaller and it was a bit easier to navigate.

Foul language? I heard almost none at PAX prime last year in the general areas. Yes you might in some panels/concerts but you are also prewarned of that.
