Special rule: Pokemon have been given an experimental type of candy that boosts their performance in all areas. When making an attack pokemon roll 2d6 whenever they would normally roll 1d6, taking the highest of these two to use. This does not affect modifiers, so a 1d6+2 attack would roll 2d6, take the highest, and add 2.
If you haven't sent your starting pokemon to me do so now.
"Hrmph, lucky hit." Marion grumbled. He looked down at his other pokeballs. Neither of them would do much better
"It's all or nothing now Squirtle! Take this thing down!" He snapped at the pokemon, "Make sure you hit this time!"
Super Attack Break defense!
http://4e.orokos.com/roll/47384 6-1=5 Vs. 2 Defense is 3 Stress. Of course I over did it. Oh well, that's a stress for Beelzy too for Bark Orders.
Squirtle puffs it's cheeks up, then slowly expels a bubble, one nearly the size of the Gastly. It lazily floats over. The subsequent burst sends the Gastly tumbling end over end to land in a heap in front of it's trainer. Marion wipes the sweat from his brow, chuckling.
It doesn't matter, but I'm curious as to how Rapid Fire went off in that exchange?
"Flop sweat time Beelzy?" Marion smirked. His Squirtle was just about knocked out on it's feet, swaying and sweating and bleeding from the Zubat's wounds. Now would be the time for a good trainer to congratulate his pokemon and pull it back. Marion shook his head. The trap was obvious, but the turtle would be dead weight at this point
"Do what damage y'can little guy, Bubble that bat!" He ordered grimly. The Squirtle slumped it's shoulder in resignation, then drew in a breath....
Stupid sexy Orokos not letting me in...
Unquestioning Obedience triggers, Marion isn't stressed anymore
A mess of bubbles flowed from Squirtle's mouth, pelting the Zubat. Undaunted, the bat swept through suds and knocked out Marion's Pokemon. He grimaced and pulled the pokemon back.
"Totally worth it." He mumbled as he reached for another ball...
I throw down my pokemon at the start of my next turn, so free action for Beelzebub I guess?
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"
"Pesky rodent, I'll take care of you right proper. Go get 'im Nidoran!" He tossed the pokeball, a pink spikey rodent like creature bounding out. It glanced to and fro, as if hunting.
"Snag that thing outta the sky! Super Fang attack!" The trainer commanded, his pokemon leaping into the air to bite at Zubat, teeth gnashing
Add 1d6=3, 1d6=2 1+3 is enough, enough to cause 1 stress to Zubat, which triggers Bark Orders, Setting Beelzebub's Stress at 7. Nidoran has +2 against normal attacks until the end of the next turn.
Marion smirks as his monster latches on the Zubat, ripping at it.
Actually, your roll's at a -4 (2 for defense, 2 for fang's hit) so that shouldn't cause any stress, your acrobatics will trigger and so will my poison spikes. Instead of losing a stress, you'll gain 1 from the poison.
I think. (hopes desperately he doesn't come across as a jerk for pointing that out)
EDIT: Disregard the above I'm reading things wrong. (-1 From Stress, -2 from fang all is right.)
Matev on
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"
I didn't count defense in the actual roll, but I counted the fang and my trainer being past the Stress Limit, which is a -3. After that, I rolled a 3. Take into account your 2 for defense, and that leaves 1 Stress.
Right?
Also, not a jerk for pointing out mistakes if I make them
The Nidoran gnaws feebly at the Charmander before succumbing to it's burns and fainting.
"You think that's it!? You think your special fancy pants Charmander is gonna take this whole thing for you!?" Marion spits as he pulls his last pokeball off his belt...
(And free turn again)
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"
"Fine! I've been saving the best for last! Now, you're doomed" Marion bellows as he throws his pokeball
Booga-Booga!
"Alright, wrap 'im up with a String Shot!" The little Weedle menacingly stands and curls it's tail towards the charmander, silk dispersing from the tip.
1d6-1=2, 1d6-1=3 3 Should cause 1 stress. Enough to trigger the String shot's effect! -3 To attack rolls next turn.
The Weedle's string starts to wrap around the hapless Charmander.
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"

"......you done?" He cocks his head, nonchalantly staring down the Ghastly floating about, "Good. Get 'im Squirtle, a bubble attack!"
The Squirtle bounces out of the pokeball and spews a stream of bubbles which seem to impact the Ghastly with concussive force!
Curse would.... do nothing...
So Gastly, LICK HIM, MUAHAHAHA!
.....that sounded more fearsome mentally.
2d6, -1 to each = [0,4] MUAHAHAHAHA 1 Stress! Squirtle will fall in no time at this rate!
(Also, -1 to Squirtle's attacks, -2 to normal attacks should you for some strange reason want to use it )

"C'mon, you're stronger than that! Bubble that Gastly away!"
Squirtle feebly tries to blow more bubbles, but it's mouth is clenched shut.
Gastly, CURSE the overgrown turtle!
4!
Squirtle takes 1 Stress, but more importantly, fir the rest of the battle is weakened! (-1 to all rolls, 1 Stress taken at the end of your turn)
Muahahahahaha dark forces always win!

I'm not sure why. Something about it. Something creepy.

"Come at me!"
Flying demon of the night, Zubat, I choose you! (Also the unanimously voted most annoying Pokemon ever!)
Zubat, use Leech Bite with a Trap! Exploit Opening makes it even more effective!
please please please do lots of damage...
2#1d6=(6,5) MUAHAHAHA
Squirtle takes 6-2-1 = 3 Stress! If Squirtle attacks during his turn, he'll take 3 more Stress!
Stress Fix Rapid Fire activates! Beelzebub is back down to 0 Stress... but the Super Attack adds 1d6=6
....Ouch.

Zubat uses Supersonic!
(It doesn't actually target you, so the second effect doesn't come into play, but I think I still get the +1 defense?)

1d6=1, 1d6=2 And it seems my mistrust was justified
1d6=4, 1d6=1 4+2 is 6, causing 3 stress to Zubat and 1 more to Beelzy
With a cutely fierce growl, the Nidoran chomps on the Zubat until it stops moving before strutting around the field.
1d6=4 Derp
Marion laughs maniacally now, his heart pounding.
"YOU see!? I've got this! You can't beat me!" He poses for the crowd, sweating bullets.
