Comics are missing now

Most comics are missing for me lately. They just don't show up, no red x or anything. I can't see The Backyard, You Got Your Bas In My Relief, La Vida Vita, This Dilapidated Universe, or Territory for example.

edit: Also, title fields still don't work when making a thread.

Technically It’s Gung Fou doesn't show either. I'm on IE7, by the by.

If you're viewing the comics at work, your employer is most likely blocking the new comic hosting site: smugmug.com

The new comic URLs look like:
    http://penny-arcade.smugmug.com/photos/i-kBPCpRW/0/L/i-kBPCpRW-XL.jpg

    The old URLs:
    http://art.penny-arcade.com/photos/i-kBPCpRW/0/L/i-kBPCpRW-XL.jpg

The way I get around it is to replace penny-arcade.smugmug.com with art.penny-arcade.com in the URL

As the notice says Mike and Jerry do not read this forum, but that's OK since this is a business related message. So it should be directed to Robert:

Since my company blocks smugmug because it is a "backup and personal storage" site (as many companies do) the amount of time I spend on the sight has dropped from multiple times a day for the three days a week that the site updates, to a single session on the weekend if I remember to check. So, while as a single individual this likely has no effect on the PA business, I wonder how many other people will be reducing their visits to the site as well. I don't know how much money you are saving on bandwidth by serving the comics from smugmug, but you ought to crunch the numbers and see if it's worth the loss of thrice weekly visits.

I'd do that but I don't even get the urls to replace. All I get is www.penny-arcade.com/comic

Seems to be a pretty stupid idea to change the comic display to a personal backup site.

So why the change? According to nslookup, art.penny-arcade.com is a CNAME record for domains.smugmug.com. This implies that art.penny-arcade.com and penny-arcade.smugmug.com probably point to the same place - Smugmug's servers. Are they actually different servers? If not, can we go back to using the old URLs so that the comics don't get caught in the filters?

I've reported this thread to the appropriate Penny Arcade staff to review.

I disapprove of your implication that it was someones "stupid idea" to degrade your web-comic experience.
Please refrain from throwing around baseless insults.

Hey folks, sorry for the inconvenience. I've updated all the new urls to point to art.penny-arcade.com, and will ensure that future comics are posted with that host. Let me know if you run into further troubles.

    Thanks!

The comic is pointing to smugmug again today
