Mouse scroll wheel stopped working.

Around a week ago, my scroll wheel stopped working. Prior to it's non-function, the computer crashed, and upon startup it stopped working. The mouse button on it still works, but not the scroll wheel. Any ideas?

    I had that happen with a mouse that came with its own driver and some software. Try reinstalling the mouse driver and the software it came with (if any).

    I tried un/reinstalling Logitech's software, but was unable to remove it completely. Whenever I run the uninstaller, the computer restarts.
