I can see why it might be a problem since this is still technically a 13 years old and above forum.
And there has been precedent for people being infracted for linking to porn, even if they labelled it as nsfw.
I guess whether or not it is not allowable depends on the disposition of whichever moderator happens to be browsing the thread and decides to lay down a ruling.

I don't have a problem with a few comics being labeled as soft-core porn or porn, I do however have a problem with saying you're not gonna read anything I post because all I post is just porn-comics, as though having sex in them lessens them.
That's fine. You can continue being abrasive, and people can continue to not like your attitude.
If they take it as abrasive or an attitude problem, that's much more an indictment about their character as an artist than it is mine as a critic. I don't think people are going to stop discussing webcomics in the webcomics thread any time soon.
They are, as always, completely free not to read the webcomics thread at any time.
Not discussing webcomics in the webcomic thread was neither the point of, nor suggested by, my post.
Refusing to acknowledge the impact of your words as significant enough to merit consideration of the other party's feelings is kind of a bad attitude, yes, internet or not. Being a 'critic' doesn't preclude being empathetic.
An open discussion of any medium will always include commentary on quality, it's a necessary implication of your post even if you didn't directly suggest it.
I really have no way of knowing what the impact of my words will be on the artist, because that's also up to the interpretation of the artist. Some artists are good at handling critique, others have incredibly thin skins and take even the mildest rebuke as a personal insult.
For my part, criticism of any artwork from an artist here is non-personal, and presented as frankly and plainly as possible. If I think something can be useful I'll make a suggestion. If something is technically wrong I'll comment on that too. Sometimes I'll be commenting beyond my depth or I'll simply say I like or don't like something. It's on the artist to accept that feedback as valid or not.
Suggesting that honest feedback, provided in good faith, become suppressed because it could be potentially "hurtful" seems far too much like coddling to me. I can't think of any artform that's immune to critique, I've yet to be given a good enough reason for the webcomics thread to be any different.
I'll concede that I was too broad with my initial wording, and appreciate the objective and impartial intent of your critiques, but I still can't agree with your point of view.
Just as discussion and critique aren't mutually exclusive, I don't feel that empathy and coddling are mutually INclusive. Empathy isn't as simply distilled as determining how hurtful a comment may or may not be, nor is it the expectation that you can actually anticipate the other person's reaction. It is, however, making an effort to put yourself in their shoes, and considering the circumstances beyond your own personal interaction with them.
I'm not talking about critical immunity. I'm not talking about protecting someone's delicate sensibilities by giving them a pat on the head instead of meaningful feedback. I'm talking about making judgment calls on a case by case basis.
It may feel like you're just being 'blunt' or 'honest,' but saying whatever you want to say and completely absolving yourself of responsibility for the tactfulness or timing of your words by claiming it's up to the recipient's interpretation is going to be counterproductive to whatever genuine desire you have to help them improve. That kind of attitude isn't constructive, and that's the part I take issue with.
Boner police! We received a report of illegal boner trafficking! We'll need everyone to cooperate while we search the premises for boners. Under pain of law you will submit to strip-search for boners, should it be deemed necessary!

Achewood is the gold standard of webcomic writing.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

You're a monster, Zorg
that really is quite well done, but personally I would love to see Tracy Butler's art translated into traditional animation
Steam Profile | Signature art by Alexandra 'Lexxy' Douglass
At first I was irked because I thought they just straight up ripped Tracy's design
But then I saw the credits so I was oh okay then
