I'm in if it's not too late, and for a frame of reference this is my artworks. I vary between detailed pencil drawings and bright digital cartoons but there are lots of things I never try for fear of screwing it all up.
You might know me from the internet at bogleech.com!
Interesting. I really would like to draw more females I'm just terrible at it and really self-critical if they aren't good looking. I will definitely give this a shot though.
Didn't quite end up truthful to the style Iruka had picked but I tried to push it in that direction. Nonetheless it's far from my normal painterly stuff. And yeah, it's portraying me eating smetana(bulgarian yogurt/sourcream type stuff) straight out of a jar.
I think I pushed this as far as it goes. It was/is a wonderful learning experience though. (and I'm sure glad I didn't go with hugo pratt-like stylings, those are not only way out of my comfort zone, but I know I just would have tainted his legacy somehow.)
A multitude of things:
1. Got und Himmel! The art I'm seeing is awesome.
2. I'd like to get in on this. My art is is usually heavily stylized single figures (usually full body, but sometimes like my user-pic, rarely colored, and other times a lot like Mike Mignola's).
3. Bring it on.
ZING!
On a related note: maybe something more serious... Thomas Kinkade? Come on guys, you have the power to tell him which style he has to draw in - you can't loose.
Hm, I'd really like to do this if it isn't too late. I've been sketching a bunch lately, but haven't been really committing to anything in the last few weeks.
@Prospicience @Siegfried
It is indeed still running. Now if I could just get people to give damn suggestions! We currently need suggestions for you guys and Chico I think.
Although this sounds like an amazing challenge to try, I'm going to sit on the metaphorical bench and see the greats create beautiful stuff. But if it's suggestions you want, I bring suggestions for all
@ChicoBlue
Maybe something that relies on linework rather than paint to tell a story.
Wuhooo! Okay I'm down with caricatures for sure, however, that's not too far out of my comfort zone. Basically I'll I've been sketching lately is faces, whether it be animals or humans. I may even try to finish more than one suggestion honestly. I've got quite a bit of time this week.
might not have it done by then, got a huge commission on my plate and I've only just got back to drawing at all after almost a month of no time. But we'll see.
it's not an emergency. I said I'd participate, but these things have to take a backseat to my actual job and any paid commissions so if I miss the deadline so be it. Can always carry on in my own time.
This one actually has quite a few people participating. It usually runs wild because not many people participate. I think we could keep this one going for a while just for the fact that people are participating.

As if making something cute wasn't hard enough!
Something in the style of James Piack.
More to be found here.
HOW'S THAT FOR UNCOMFORTABLE? HUH?
Also, I'm in now.
Aw hell we all lose.

I'm curious what people would suggest for me, but at the same time I'm a coward and wary of committing.
I mainly do cartoony/simplistic design-type stuff.
I don't have much, but here's my DA: http://prospicience.deviantart.com/

@Prospicience
For you I would suggest caricatures.
or maybe some Tom Richmond
@Siegried
And last but not least. I would like to see more black and white from you.
