Well guys, tonight I went into my hole-in-the-wall LCS and bought my first two flimsies ever: Avengers and HawkGuy. I have always been a trade guy, but have recently started moving to digital, and I figure with Marvel Now! and the digital codes and making more money than I ever have before now is a decent time to give this a try.
Interestingly enough, you and I seem to be the exact same person.
Oh yeah I forgot about avengers having a digital code. I kind of just gloss over ads and hawkeye is my other book so never worry about it over there.
Well, I am really only getting into buying singles to support my LCS. If they didn't have codes I would just still be trade-waiting or buying digitally to begin with, as I don't want hundreds of singles scattered around my house or in longboxes.
And now that I've realized only the $3.99 books have the codes, I won't be buying singles of $2.99 stuff like Hawkeye.

Instead of mycomicshop (which I love for back singles) I've bought from two guys on ebay that usually offer an issue discount that will negate shipping if you grab your weekly pulls. Also bagged and boarded so that's a plus: http://myworld.ebay.com/thecargohold is my preferred and http://myworld.ebay.com/wantedcomix when they don't have something.
