planeswalkers were cooler when they were semi-divine
I am in complete disagreement here, in that I love the concept of Garruk for so many silly reasons, the most of which being that he was basically like a farmer who watched his dad die and then hulked out, only magically. And now he is technically one of the most powerful magic beings in the universe, to which he uses this talent to hunt dinosaurs or whatever, because he does not give a fuck. Jace: continues to pursue secrets to the universe and mental perfection. Lilliana: obsession with power and eternal life. Nicol Bolas: domination over the entire multiverse. Garruk's life goal: beat the shit out of Lilliana because she killed one of his dogs.
If Wizards came up to you and said okay you have two options for the iconic representation of the power of green mana: a divine, naturalistic elf wizard or forest druid or some shit like that, or magical Brock Samson, do not stand there and tell me the first choice is cooler. Because you would be so wrong you should be fined for it.

White, though: totally cool with that.
None of the reasons you like them would have been out of place before Neowalkers.

I have a corpsejack menace in play and then play zegana, does she come in with 4 counters or 8?
I really want it to be 8 but I am worried it could be 4 because she enters with them already attached to her and they are never "placed" on her

I'd say eight. The behavior of Corpsejack + Zegana is similar to Planeswalkers + Doubling Season, which is why Doubling Season is so fucking expensive.

This is stated explicitly on the Menace's Gatherer rules page:
If a creature you control would enter the battlefield with a number of +1/+1 counters on it, it enters with twice that many instead.
Corpsejack Menace doubles up for any creature that "enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it" including Zegana and creatures with Unleash. In addition, the effect doubles on itself, which means if you had two Menaces out, you would put four times as many counters on it.

I kinda wish 'standard' drafts were a thing. 1 pack from each block and 1 from the core set.
When the current block completes and the previous block cycles out (but before the first set of the next block) this sort of happens
at least at my store, drafts become one pack of each set in the newly completed block
For the Large/Small/Small block type that is how it works. For something like Innistrad block because Avacyn Restored was a large set it was drafted avr/avr/avr instead of inn/dac/avr.

yeah Zegana and the Orzhov common guy were today's, along with the x-spell
I am disappointed that we didn't get more than three but only 11 hours to go for more

What I want, when Dragon's Maze comes out, is two-block Ravnica sealed (Ravnica/Guidpact/Dissension/Return To Ravnica/Gatecrash/Dragon's Maze).
1) draw your deck
2) skip your untap phase permanently
3) after this turn, i take another one
4) i may play my graveyard as if the cards were in my hand for this turn
5) i draw a new hand
6) destroy all lands, creatures and artefacts
7) discard your hand
8) Fork
9) countered (aka "forced")
10) Hypnotic Specter (esp. after first turn ritual)
he was like 3 bucks last I checked and I have 3 of them I think
(they are all mine, golgari forever)
Easy to cast due to hybrid casting cost, larger than average body for a 1CC creature with no drawbacks and multiple abilities, and each ability is useful to varying degrees. You can ditch Evolving Wilds for mana, throw out instants and sorceries to prevent Snapcaster shenanigans, remove targets for reanimation, get some extra usage out of dead creatures you can't pull back, etc. It can work in nearly any deck that uses black or green.

I played a standard deck that did all of these. He calls it OmniDoorThragFire
Basically the idea behind the deck is to ramp into Omniscience then cast a couple of Thragtusks and then Worldfire
Or cast Door to Nothingness and use your ramp to Door
And he uses stupid fucking Temporal Mastery and god damn motherfucking bullshit deck that shouldn't ever win and FUCK THAT DECK

Damn. Maybe just get two dinner trays, you'd get more use out of em that way.
I like the idea of having a folding table though, I think we'd get non-mtg use out of it too.
