That's not so bad.
Do you know if pre-registering saves you that time? Because I pre-registered once for a convention in Toronto and the pre-registration line was just as long and slow as the registration line.

they moved pretty quick, though
I mean, I think everyone managed to get inside within about half an hour on opening day last year, once they finally opened the doors
everyone that already had a pass, anyway

you're signed up for BYOC this year?
huh.
also, alright, guys. I think Friday night I'm going to try to run a game of Spirit of the Century, if anybody wants to play. I've found the SRD available for free, with three different PDFs of the rules, here. Looks to be a pretty simple but incredibly intriguing and fun RPG, set in a very pulp version of the 1920-1940 era - think Indiana Jones, old Noir movies, stuff like that. Very intriguing.
If I can get four or five people willing to give it a shot and at least give the basic rule set a cursory glance ahead of time, I'll try to come up with a quick one-shot game to play Friday night.

As long as I get to say, "all these memories will be lost, like tears...in rain" while I'm dying.

Peach Jam made. 6 jars of peachy gold.
The recipe I used called for 2 packets of pectin so i'm pretty sure it will set up fine.
wait to get inside shouldn't be too bad, once doors are open
line should be in pretty quick
hard to say, though, since it's it is in the convention center and not in the Meydenbauer this year
