Basically I am narcissistic enough to think that I look good to other people but have low enough self esteem to not always think I look good to myself.

But yeah, it's annoying that I see tiny shit and focus on that. How I see myself is almost entirely predicated upon what mood I'm in beforehand! Like and that even affects whether I see a girl or a boy in the mirror.

Oh by the way guys I really appreciate the feedback on the first paragraph of my essay from earlier! I read through all of your responses I just couldn't post due to god-awful basement internet. It was really helpful, thanks! I've taken out some of the more "indecisive" words and really focused on what the point of including that anecdote it. I've sort of merged my first paragraph with the second now, it reads a lot smoother and makes me sound like I know how to stick with things.

I have an odd soft spot for the Highlander TV show. And this is after first seeing it sometime in the last year.
It's pretty rough. It does a lot of really dumb things, but it's usually watchable. In a few ways it almost feels like a prototype Angel or Charmed. Both pick up within a year of it ending, and run with different aspects: Charmed gets the "inspector trying to suss the main character's secret" and "how do you find love as a super-being" and Angel getting the "Immortal tries to keep humanity safe from other monsters" and the "past deeds have repercussions in the present".
I found out I don't like the liar revealed storyline.
And I'm sitting here watching Safety not Guaranteed on Netflix, and I'm so agitated that it's going to turn out to be the same old liar revealed story that I can't continue watching, even though the parts that are good are really good to me.
What did you think of the ending?
