[Minecraft] Family Friendly Servers for Kids?

So my best friend asked me today about Minecraft for her nine year old daughter. I can't tell you how excited I am about this, but I'm at a loss as to what servers to suggest for her. I've always played on a private server with two of my friends, but since we have all moved onto other games, the server is a ghost town. I'm not looking for a strictly for kids server, as I would like to play with her sometimes. If anyone has suggestions for a good family friendly, kid-safe server I'd be grateful. I already googled it, but I don't want to spend time applying to join servers until I find one that I like and that's suitable.

    This is really the best option if you'd like to have a server that you can assure is kid friendly, they can invite their friends, not only will you not have to worry about griefers you also won't have to worry about trolls and other kid unfriendly things.

    Been awhile, but if you give some of the PA-run servers a heads up (let them know the age/username of the kid), they're generally pretty good about it.

    Except for the occasional 50ft tall penis...
