I am happier with the PA top list than the overall
which I actually find awesome
thanks for all the info as always!
I felt a lot better about the poll results once I realized the main poll is not just PA people. PA poll is much more like I expected it.

I picked up Gone Home due to this poll with no real expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It subverted pretty much every genre expectation, and was much more heartwarming than anything I was expecting it to be could've been. (That language is a bit awkward, but whatevs).
I think I did it a disservice, though. I played it while fighting off the flu (Or something flu-like) and didn't realize what was going on for a while, so I think I missed some of it. I also hallucinated the possibility of multiple endings. Don't ask.
The only complaint I have is that $20 is a steep price for a 60 minute game.
Did you unlock the safe? It's easy to think "I'll probably find the safe combo later" and forget about it.
Easter egg: did you find a place for the thing in the garage rafters?

I spent four hours digging though that house and I still didn't get everything. I've actually had to stop myself from jumping back in because I want my impressions to fade a bit before replaying.
