Very sad news to report today.
Bob Casale of Devo. Born: July 14th, 1952 . Deceased: February 17th, 2014
As an original member of Devo, Bob Casale was there in the trenches with me from the beginning. He was my level-headed brother, a solid performer and talented audio engineer, always giving more than he got. He was excited about the possibility of Mark Mothersbaugh allowing Devo to play shows again. His sudden death from conditions that lead to heart failure came as a total shock to us all.

He was known by fans as "Bob 2" since he played alongside guitarist Bob Mothersbaugh, the brother of Devo co-founder Mark Mothersbaugh.
The new wave band began after Gerald Casale and Mark Mothersbaugh met as art students at Kent State University. The group wrote its first music in May 1970 -- the same month National Guard troops fired on anti-war protesters on the Kent State campus, killing four students.

I mean, there are a lot of celebrities, so celebrity deaths are going to be happening basically all the time
Into shape?
It's not too late
great job
Whip it is awesome
This is not awesome
At least it wasn't the bassist from Kajagoogoo or even the fiddler from Dexy's Midnight Runners. I had way more material on those guys.

I just call it posting.
This is sad news, as all deaths are.
One of my favorites from them:

Also, it sums up my posting style. Sorry, Anti!
But I liked a lot of stuff that was influenced by them, and I find myself caring far more for influential musicians rather than ones I just find good.
And 61 is way too young to go so this is incredibly sad.
they also inspired the Polysics

and then Something Else for Everybody was released last year and had some songs that didnt make the cut, which was neat
