CCNA Routing and Switching

Hey, I'm looking to take the CCNA Routing and Switching exam some time next month. I got a voucher for 58% off the cost of the exam because I got over a certain grade on the Cisco online final that we did as part of the NetAcad/Networking classes we had in college, but it expires on July 29th so there's my deadline. Now, I did pretty well every semester in networking but a) I hear the CCNA exam is a whole other ball game compared to the NetAcad curriculum and b) I haven't done anything networking related since December, which is when I was last in school.

I was wondering if you guys could point me to some good (free) online resources or give me any tips regarding what I should focus on as far as studying goes, since there is a LOT of material to cover. I do have some of my old notes from school, exam study guides, etc. that I'm starting from. Packet tracer exercises would be a big help too. I always did way better on the lab practical exams as opposed to the written ones (but the difference is basically 90% vs. 80%).

I'm looking to take the single 200-120 exam rather than ICND1 and 2.

I'm just about to wrap up CCNA3 (Expanding Networks), taking night classes at my local tech school. I just went though my Netacad materials from that course, and can't access any of my old tests to give you an idea of what to expect for the final.

Cisco is definitely bad for making its exams convoluted and they don't always follow what was described in the chapter material. Here's a copy of the notes I took during the classes. It may not be super helpful, but it will give you an idea of the material we covered.

If you have any specific questions, I'll do my best to help you out.

Thanks man. I'm missing a lot of my older notes so these are a great help.

Keep going until you get them all right. (or at least until you're comfortable with each possible way to answer these questions, I think they're generated with maths on the fly.)
