Xbone controller - what kind of cable do I need to plug it into both my Xbone and PC?

Thread title just about says it all. I'm looking to buy a couple USB cables so I can:

1. Update my Xbone controller's firmware
2. Use it to play Steam games on my PC

I'm looking at Amazon for cables right now, but it's all Greek to me. Male A, Male B, Female, etc.

So, what should I be looking for?

    You want a 2.0 A Male to Micro B. It's the same cable that probably came with your last cellphone (unless you use an iPhone, they are the only ones who don't play by the rules)

    Monoprice do good cables cheaply. They're definitely worth a look, and they sell through Amazon as well, so if you have Prime...
