    He made it out okay because, contrary to popular belief, WoW wasn't really "hard" back in 2004 either. Everything just took longer. ;)

    I still remember when people started bailing on FFXI for WoW back in the day, and they would come back just long enough to tell us how much "easier" it was. With the message clearly being "easier" = "better."

    Those were the bold pioneers who came over to Vanilla WoW. Those brave souls. I wonder if any of them are still playing today...
