Bioshock and Halo 3 have come out, they are fantastic. Half Life The Orange Box is next week and in November there is Rock Band/Mass Effect/Call of Duty 4. Those are the major ones from the top of my head.
Man, I have like no spare monies. I'm trying to save money and last month I bought Bioshock, and this month, World in Crisis. I am also looking to pump more into my computer but you know what, I just can't. I need to add funds to my account to not only open up a CD, but also fucking PAY FOR COLLEGE.
I only have the PC, DS, and PSP platforms and that doesn't really give me to splurge on. I just need to try my best and keep my money from the stores. I think I really ought to just skip out on the 360 and halo as a whole, as well as perhaps the Orange Box. All in preparation for the grand Unreal Tournament III.
Dirt was probably one of the best games ive played all year. It was like gran turismo, but with rally cars. Its that good.
I thought Dirt was an arcade racer and not a "sim" like Gran Turismo...
Whilst I don't think it's a uber sim, it's cretainly difficult to drive and no arcade racer. When you start turning up the damage modelling it get's really impressive.
Oh, 360? I guess you missed Bioshock. And that Walo thing? Or is it Helo? I can't remember, but some guys like it or something.
I hear it's made by Hungie.
OP, you may want to plan out your attacks and wait a week or so; rumors are that Toys R Us is having another buy-2-get-1 free sale the week of Oct. 14, which means you can save a bundle if you can find a TRU with the games you want.
Ive had a quick browse and didnt see mention of a fantastic new 360 game (soon to be ps3) skate.
It's a damn fine piece of electronic entertainment!
And what's this about the darkness? might just be me by the looks of it but I really didnt enjoy it massively. I found it had gimmicky ways of killing people and I stumbled through what I played by accident. I dont understand why shooters need special powers these days!

I've always liked Colin McRae's games. I think I'll buy DiRT if there's a PC version available (since I don't own a 360). Too bad there won't be any more.

Also Forza 2 if you like racing sims, PGR4 if you like it a little more arcade-y, and Blue Dragon if you like JRPGs
