Well the day before was pretty tense. The air was ripe with potential betrayal. It looked like the other school was poorly equipped to deal with discrider, but extremely well equipped to kill us. So I for one got a bit paranoid.
For what it's worth, we really didn't want to kill you, discrider. We owed you for showing us the map. But we couldn't risk letting you escape with us. You knew we had been hit with C4; we were all near death, so you could have just punched one of us for the water. Hell, the other school might just have given you the water, so we had make sure that wasn't going to happen.
Okay, now the game is over, what was that @Bliss 101@premium ?
Why didn't you all just leave day 6 when I had no water?
Why didn't you even talk to me to see what I was planning to do?
Why did you decide to side with the entire Ouran school instead of the guy you've been working with the entire game?
I mean, I would've been on 1 HP and dead on Day 7 if Bliss hadn't attacked me, but still.
And of course, Bliss's vote close posts were just putting the boot in.
Edit: I'm not sure I understand how this has a later timestamp than Bliss's post.
If you weren't a Serial Killer I would have grudged you for life.
If I weren't an SK, I would've done the exact same thing.
There was no guarantee my school was going to get the stuff necessary to escape, and then it would've come down to who could win in the giant group of schools and lovers.
Drez and you both could not win in the same group of lovers, so one had to die.
Thanks for hosting the game, Ardor. I don't have the time and energy for most phalla games anymore, but Phalla Royale is always awesome fun and I'll always make time for these games.
Feedback: I think lovers are kind of disruptive to the game, and in my opinion Shared Fate in particular is a bit OP. In the first Phalla Royale, there was an item (hair ribbon?) that could turn two players into Shared Fate lovers. That was a better approach, in my opinion. People should be able to trust their teams more than they can in the current lover-filled meta.

Killing me so early betrayed the school you were lovers with. If I was JDark I would have killed you straight up instead of Analyzing you first because you openly betrayed him and his team and made your shared win condition weaker. Not to mention your followup where you disclosed you wanted to win with your starting team instead of his. The fact that he didn't stab you in the face right then and there is surprising, but it did lead to to being outed as a Serial Killer instead of just a silly goose so I can't argue with results.
And never did I once state my intentions to escape. I was going for a kill victory via lovers and was openly cooperating with you thanks to our shared win condition that gave us the combined-team with the most surviving and healthy players left.
If you don't understand this, then you need game theory lessons.
Thanks for running this! It was a lot of fun! I didn't mind the lover mechanic because it added some tension to the pre-networked team mechanic. Sure, the two lone wolves did this as well, but with four teams, you had fair odds of being able to trust everyone in your school if you remove the lover shenanigans.

Thanks for the feedback! I will have to think about other options for lovers. We had a lot of them, but only you took shared lover.
I am also curious what vertroue and discrider thought about the lone wolf roles. I tweak them the most. I added incognito to help with them being analyzed early. Even if nobody took it, it gives some cover I hoped.

And you were by far the easiest person to eliminate in order to make this tip towards my team, or at least any team, so that a free-for-all didn't occur should no team be able to escape by day 6.
I could not take out Drez/Kime because he was walking around with my team, and I did not want to make the entirety of my team angry at me for tipping the scales to my lover's team.
You were walking around with only JDark.
I'm not sure what else I can say about this.
It made sense to kill you so that one combined-team was larger than the other so that Day 6 and Day 7 wouldn't devolve into last man standing, should the escape route be closed.
This made sense even with our supposed shared win-con.
Sorry.

Eh. Lone wolf roles were compromised by the free Analyse action that everyone could do.
Considering the optimal school strategy of bunch up in one place and then Analyse everyone, unless you want to rely on your school to not out you, then you have to wander around by yourself and likely die.
So yeah, probably should've taken Incognito and been boring, and then Analysed on Day 5 when the team still doesn't want to move.
Although Maniacal's -1 damage from all students would've been great. I maybe should've taken that.. And then been useless at fighting <_<
@discrider: Your best shot of winning was to play along and not out yourself and betray when you did, but to keep playing along, take the escape route, and then murder everyone else on the escape route. If you didn't have the necessary materials you'd kill who had them the day before escaping.
You played your hand too early, outed yourself as someone who couldn't be allowed to live, and ruined your chance to secretly escape and murder.
Yeah, I think the Lone Wolf role is badly crippled by the fact that there's almost always a quiet day when people have time to analyze each other. The lone wolves are screwed even if nobody happens to analyze them, because other people form cells of "confirmed clean" players. Maybe this problem could be alleviated by reducing the number of zones, so that people would more often be forced to choose between Analyze and combat.

Bolded for emphasis because I spent pretty much the entire game hiding in relatively empty zones and the only bit of damage I took was some C-4.

I thought my best chance at winning was to eliminate all the outliers on one side or the other, then come out as Lone Wolf on day 6 when there was only one block left.
And I thought that that would've been my best chance as a lover student as well.
But then the other lover pairs died, and so there was no longer one large block with VW on one side and Drez on the other.
Although ultimately, the members of the losing school who weren't aligned with the other would've needed to die as well.
And frankly, it would've worked a lot better too, if I hadn't forgotten to move to the Abandoned Houses on Day 4 and then been Analysed due to the lapse.
Additionally, there was no reason for you or JDark to not Analyse me that night, so killing one of you made even more sense.
And I agree. My best chance of winning would have been to take Incognito and sit with my school on a hill or something.
And die of boredom.
On the topic of balance, I think maybe Kitano needs to be more proactive and clip anyone who doesn't move zones for 1 damage.
That way the schools actually move around and run into each other, and the lone wolves aren't the only thing people are concentrating on Day 3 - 5.
And not through the shock collar either; People who've removed their collars already have the least motivation to move around.
Also, with the lone wolf perks, I definitely picked mine poorly because the original OP said that the Lone Wolf could also pick a dedicated Student perk. It wasn't until night 3 that I was informed this wasn't meant to be the case.
So while Brute Force was a lot of fun, and the reason why I was missed by all those ranged weapons day 6, originally I thought I was going to get 4 unarmed attacks per night straight up, and be able to upgrade them into 2 dmg attacks.
All in all though, I heartily recommend taking either Brute Force or the Unarmed Specialist perk and then upgrading it into Unarmed Mastery over using weapons.
I didn't need a weapon all game, and considering I started with a Collar remover, that was a boon.
Not so sure I would take it over the other Lone Wolf perks though (specifically Maniacal or the boring-but-best-choice Incognito).

Bliss was planning to kill him regardless because he hadn't been analyzed.

Really...
At one point a call went out within my school for any Lone Wolves to out themselves.
Mutual victory and so on.
I still have to wonder whether they'd just have killed me for doing so.
And I would've thought it was pretty obvious that I was a Lone Wolf as soon as I skipped town the night they started analysing.

I wouldn't have killed our outed you to the rest of the game if you had outed yourself to us
Being sneaky about not getting analysed instead of outing yourself directly just made me feel like I couldn't trust you at all

Well you could have asked what I was going to do day 6, instead of just piling on me and maintaining radio silence.
Then I would've said "I'm going to throw myself on the other team and die horribly".
Although I believe I said something similar to people late in the day and then I died anyway.

Next game, I want the option to beat people to death with a First Aid Kit.
It's the perfect secret weapon.

These are the allegiances I knew about on Day 4:
1) JPants - Red+Blue
2) vertroue - Lone Wolf
5) Dragon6860 - 3rd team?
7) discrider - Red+Blue
8) Bliss101
9) jdarksun - Red+Blue
12) Egos
13) Sir Fabulous
14) The Anonymous - 3rd team?
16) Gizzy - 3rd team?
17) Drez (replaced Kime)
19) Preda
20) Vagrant_winds
21) Megafrost
22) Premium
25) Kias - Red+Blue
Looked to me to be an even split.

I took Maniacal for giggles and had just that.
Frankly I thought I was going to die the same night as Dragon.
