I had a Gameboy Pocket, and my mum once brought home a bunch of accessories one of her students was getting rid of, like a screen magnifier and a light.

They were all for the original Gameboy.

Not to be beaten, I taped them to my Gameboy.

People played RPGs on this thing.

I didn't even get this far. The Gameboy Advance was the last game console I ever owned until the 3DS two years ago. There was a great mid-00s drought for me.

The Nintendo DS Lite is the last ninty console I bought.

Never owned a 3DS and don't Nintend to.

I'll buy that Wii U if the Zelda game manages to be something actually new.

I'm probably getting a 3DS now that the new version is available and there are some games that I particularly want to play on it.

But it still chafes me that Nintendo won't put DS or GBA games on the digital store for the 3DS.

I've been playing my GBA-SP this week due to being sick in bed a lot

    It's so tiny!

I can play for about 30 minutes until my hands go numb

The Galaxy S6 is getting rid of expandable storage

Wow Samsung, so you finally decide to do a glass and aluminum chassis and then you take away like, one of your big wins over iphones?

removable storage has been a thorn in androids side from day one. It's not necessary anymore.

do you live somewhere with good 4g coverage and have an unlimited data plan?

If for some reason I need more the 64 gigs of data at my fingertips i can get wifi anywhere I'm sitting down.

    not what I asked

also, the base gs6 is 32gb of which probably less than 25 will actually be usable

less of an issue in the states, but i'd rather not be dependant on trying to find decent wifi when travelling internationally

Nots not a problem of not having removable storage. That's Samsung getting rid of it but still being cheap about upgrading storage.

    How do you figure?

A 128gb micro sd card currently costs €85

    The difference between a 16GB and 64GB iPhone 6 is €185

For some reason, I can't imagine Samsung not being profit orientated here

it comes in 32, 64 and 128gb varients (16gb phones are stupid nowadays)

They just haven't announced prices yet so I used the iphone pricing since it is likely to be pretty comparable

They are offering 3 tiers, just like iPhone.

Only they beat Apple and made the bottom floor 32 instead of 16.

I mean, I think they have to because their version of android needs more than 8 gigs to work right,so people would have been PISSED if their 16GB phone only had 5-7 gigs free.

    But still, its 32/64/128

I don't think I actually got it though until at least late 2002 or early 2003 because that was right before the SP came out

Yeah, there's no reason why $20-40 more in flash memory is costing consumers $100-200 more.
