Oh, I have one move left to get 500 points to win the date, and I have zero passion (multiplier), so even if I manage to score an obscene amount, I loose the date with the tiniest sliver left.
I should point also point out that this girl likes talent (blue) and the multiplier there on the right side was nowhere near enough to rack up 500.
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak. Only a couple missions in and of course in a giant sandstorm, but really digging the vehicle designs. Black bar pics are from cutscenes that use the game engine.
Homeworld is weirdly pretty for a game entirely about looking at dull tanks on a desert backdrop.

Yeah I love the explosions/wreckage in it. Really great atmosphere:

New Tomb Raider. This is my dream game basically. Endurance mode is like a realistic survival mode. Building camps, hunting, keeping warm. Everything you'd expect. The exclusivity deal on this game was dumb as hell but this game is well worth the money.
Yes! I've been playing Demon Souls on my PS3, and then I jumped on to Dark Souls 1 like this and it's just such a difference. I'm running only the resolution fix, I'm sure getting some ENB/Texture replacements (If they exist) would push the game to look even better.

It's about time the XCOM organization joined forces with the Assassins.
How is he going to snipe with that hood blocking his eyes?
He sees with aliens, duh.

Really, though, I'm going for the Seth Bullock (Deadwood) angry, reluctant leader with this guy. He looks the part, and I took off the hood and lost my eye. Think I'll get my mustache next, and then work on the constant seething anger.
The levels have been shrinking more and more. Mission 4 is an exercise in patience and grenades around corners.
I still like AvP2, but I just could not get into AvP at all. Normally I can tolerate shortcomings of older games, but I got really tired of the Marine campaign really fast just because I found it obtuse and the infinitely-spawning aliens got very old very quickly. They weren't particularly hard to deal with, it just got annoying and sapped away all the tension because I knew a new alien or two was going to show up soon.
But for AvP2, I still vividly remember moments like frantically backpedaling out of a proto-hive with the smart gun slapping down everything that moved, and deliberately not boarding the dropship when fleeing the main hive just so I could mow down praetorians with the armor-piercing minigun ammo I still had.

That armored prow is not just a fashion statement.
