I'm tempted to see Batman v Superman in theaters just for Wonder Woman, but I also don't want to see it

Im kinda wondering if marvel will have a Spider-man reveal around the time BvS to try and steal some thunder from DC.

DC ain't got enough thunder to steal

    maybe on this forum

BvS is still going to sell fuckmillions of tickets and has serious pop culture traction

it won't bomb for sure but MoS didn't set the box office on fire and the reception for the BvS trailers for the most part has been pretty lukewarm

unless it ends up being great and has really good word of mouth, Suicide Squad might end up being DC's better bet this year

I have zero plans to see either BvS or Suicide Squad in theaters and the me from thirteen years ago is shaking his head in disbelief.

But he hasn't seen the things that I've seen.

First Class was good and Days of Future Past was almost perfect (for me, at least), so I'm pretty much all on-board with Apocalypse regardless of previews.

It's definitely the superhero movie this year that has the least of my attention for positive or negative reasons.

I'm probably at the point again where I don't think I really care about the X-Men Cinematic Universe anymore

I'm way more into X-men Apocalypse that any other superhero movie coming out

apocalypse kind of lacks a hook, it just feels like another one of those and it hasn't been that long

Yeah I think that it would have been received better if it was coming out next year.

Like the only real hook for the movie appears to be olivia munn's boobs.

Apocalypse looks like it has the one thing I can give X3 credit for that isn't Kelsey Grammer: legit, comic-book wide-screen action. Could almost all the casting be better? Yes. Could a lot of costumes look better? Yes. Does this look like an X-Men movie with a climax that involves more than a couple guys waving their hands at things? Hell yes. If Fox can give me the movie action equivalent of a 90's Marvel crossover, I'll leave the theater happy.

Netflix certainly knows how to handle its international marketing with its recent expansion.

Here's another Lunar New Year promo, this time a mailer for the Korean market:

    KakaoTalk_20160208_002650352.jpg?type=w2
    KakaoTalk_20160208_003536363.jpg?type=w2

The art is done in a traditional Korean style and Daredevil's playing Yutnori, a Parcheesi (Ludo)-type game played for the holiday.

I'm 99% sure that all of the trailer footage from Apocalypse is, like

the first half-hour of the movie

Also, all the trailers for First Class and DoFP were underwhelming and those are the 2 best X-Men movies

So we watched the new Civil War spot and @SilverWind and I both enjoyed it

Then we watched the new X-Men spot

    "So that's Apocalypse, huh"

"Please, please don't ask me what his power is"

"Haha! Well. I was going to ask what his backstory is"

I'm still trying to write down a list of his powers

I love that that coke spot had enough budget to do the full CGI treatment for Hulk but couldn't manage to get Ruffalo in for even a second.

Am I the Simpsons nerd complaining about the skeleton xylophone if the first thing I thought of watching that commercial is "Hulk left for Asgard before Scott Lang was ever even Ant-Man, they wouldn't ever cross paths"

Do I have to turn in some kind of card and get a "Fun Hater" card in return

We don't know that Hulk is in Asgard! He probably isn't until Ragnarok and is just doing some classic wandering the earth incognito as he finds himself stuff
