Ring of Honor world champion Jay Lethal reaches a nice milestone today. He has now held the world title in the promotion for one year. This marks the longest promotional world title reign in ROH since 2009. It is also the fourth longest in history. In addition, he was TV champion for over 400 days before he won the world title, giving him a total of 805 days in a row holding a title in the same company.
Good for Lethal.

It may be my favorite feud of the first half of the year. For a very simple story and one that's been relatively short (I had to look it up because I forgot it really only started about three months ago) there's been so much emotion and motivation behind it, particularly when Nagata got involved.

As tempting as it sounds to never hear Jerry Lawler call another match I'm watching Smackdown and this Styles/Woods match might be the best Xavier's looked in singles competition in his entire WWE run.
grrr. I haven't liked shoemaker's guest(s) on his podcast (I am not even sure if it has been the same person or not?).
They've been hit or miss for me. The writer from the AV Club a couple of weeks ago was great (Latoya Ferguson), but I didn't love the most recent guests (especially since he'd already been on before). I do really like the structure of his podcast, with them watching/discussing a little bit of old wrestling along with the current stuff.

I'm excited for Cena/Styles, since it will be the first Cena match I've watched other than his first debut. I saw that on YouTube a while back, but other than that, I've never seen him in a full match.
