it's taking a tape with a generic waveform as the input, then ok its got what looks like an EQ (the knobs) and then a small set of keys to play it back at different pitches. The three-way selector appears to change the envelope/attack of the playback
what does the return line to the tape do? or are those just left and right channels?

the tapes themselves seem to be wavetable recordings and then it acts like an ondes martinot meets mellotron with one had controlling velocity and one controlling pitch playback. i kinda think there might be an internal tape machine too for delay effects
