Movies with people using Sword & Board in combat

So I am about to start playing in a D&D campaign and one of the things Roll20 allows us to do is add animated gifs into our macros. I'm playing a sword and shield/sword and javelin sort of fellow this game and went looking for animated gifs that involved people fighting with shield + weapon and found that I really couldn't find all that many! Outside of 300, anyone know of media (any kind, animated or live action) that has major characters fighting with a shield and weapon in a fantasy/medieval setting?

    Plenty of sword and board, though they're on horseback. The battle is also quite chaotic.

    GoT has some sword & board scenes. Bronn fighting for Tyrion around the moon door (it's the other guy with the shield, I think). Also the flashback scene in the latest season (I think). Those are just some examples.

    Keep in mind I'm playing the guy with the shield. Screen caps of me getting killed horrifically aren't useful in many situations.

    Well, from my history of rolls it probably will be, sadly. Most protagonists seem to not use shields and instead kill the shield guys. :(

    Just use the frames of the fights before the shield guy dies. It's not always instadeath.

    I asked my buddy, who happens to be a stage combat instructor, if he could give me some examples.

    Quoting him: "There are three phrases, the first is sword and spear vs the same. The second is sword and shield vs the same. The final phrase is sword vs sword."

    There's some sword and board in the big battle scenes from the first flashback in Highlander.

    There's also Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer, along with Red Sonja - although there aren't many scenes where the primary characters are using shields there are a ton of battle scenes where you could grab a couple of seconds of some background characters fighting with shields to turn into a short gif.

    Shield/sword and javelin is basically Roman legionnaire gear. Maybe caps from the lost legion or Ben hur.
    But rank and file fighter might not be what you are looking for because they only work well in phalanx.
