Technically, it's a mustache made from pistachios, and very very serious.

Finished the Black Dossier.
When did they recieve help from Barney Fife?
Also, I'm not sure about the ending.
On one hand, it was great. On the other, part of the reason I loved the League was that it depicted a world where fictional characters were real, but here we see that they are more or less still fictional characters. Sort of a bummer.
Yes, PI, you're so edgy for not liking superhero comics, I get it
Way to make a statement based off of nothing.
Sars Boy, they didn't receive help from Barney Fife. In one of the large bits of texts, they mention Maybury, North Carolina, and the person speaking about his encounter with the League is very clearly not Sheriff Griffith.
Invincible was pretty good this month, as was the new Angel book.
In fact, the new Angel book is probably one of the best things I've read this month, outside of Punisher MAX.
I think my favorite reference in all of the League is in the back matter of Vol. 2 where it talks about Jeffery Lebowski being a kind of nymph, which explained the beard.
In other news, I fucking hate what people did to the LoEG pages. There used to be a huge chronicle on all of the back matter of both volumes, many of which I wrote and now it's all gone. It wasn't replaced by something better, someone just deleted it and moved on.

Wow, that thing is terrible.
For instance
I like superhero comics
and
non-superhero comics such as those that PI seems to like a whole lot
I guess what I'm saying here is why can't there be more people like me?
you know I love you but god damn
i read the first trade of The Authority and it was okay
but i'm still saying that if you think ellis is better than morrison then something's wrong
Damn that series was good.
yeah, one's good
ohhhhhh
y wuld u wnt to read ellis??
i can't tell because of your horrible spelling choices
I'm a very serious person.
but he didn't say anything about hating everything
It was implied.
Pure genius.

The end also kept reminding me of Morrison, which is kind of odd.
I guess the third series will be pretty different from the first two

Fucking Hell.
you wrote a lot of that?
that's awesome
Which might just mean I'm a slow typer...that is probably the more likely explanation.
What?
edit: Ellis, the same guy who wrote/writes The Authority, Planetary, and Thunderbolts. His superhero stuff is bad?
But for the most part all his superhero stuff is exactly the same.
The man clearly does not like superheros which is fine I just wish they would stop giving him high profile superhero titles.
Just standing there, looking all menacing, just daring you to imagine stories about them.
