I was tempted, but it will never hit the table. It's so antiquated. :-P

And lo didst the people build ovens of brick for the better to cook their pizza
And near these ovens they erected cafés, which are the temples of the faithful
Next came the charcuteriea and patisseries and boulangeries
And the glorious religion of gentrification marched on

You might like some of the fluff but I remember the second edition of Cyberpunk 2020 as kind of your anti-jam. It's some seriously crunchy stuff. It's a bit more coherent a system than the Shadowrun system of the time (2nd I think) but the fluff lacks the charm of Shadowrun. Mike Pondsmith does some good stuff but that really seems like nostalgia bundle. Or something to due with the new video game coming out.

Oh, I would never play it, I just like looking at older games as pieces of the history of game design, from crunchy trash to the glorious storygaming of the here and now

Damn, that last line
The pizza shops are about the filthiest in Naples, and whoever knows Naples will admit this is saying a good deal.

The reaction to the suggestion that, on a fully closed 14km course with nine corners, there perhaps could have been more protection on the particular corner where Alejandro Valverde smashed his kneecap on the exposed steel leg of a barrier is reminding me that people are awful.

I will also accept more people pieing, punching, slapping, lighting on fire, pantsing, forcing him to wear clown make up, and berating Pier Morgan on television. Or on radio if that is the medium they work in.

The 'hay bales would solve most of the problem' vs 'let them die for our entertainment' camps are staunchly divided and firmly entrenched, I noticed

How could you possibly know that for certain
More people need to insult Piers Morgan on TV.

how the fuck could you ask me this in front of our friends
Frankly I'm not convinced you've ever even seen a pizza
Even here, when he could've pretended to be a normal person and laughed that off in a self-deprecating manner, he can't do it
He looks genuinely stung, which is just ... bizarre, for someone who's been in media most of their life
I think he lacks the self-awareness needed to realize he's an asshole.
