Wait, is this thing going to be this Saturday or next Saturday
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
@Milk Ducks is a madman who just told Rynox to stream snipe him when they got matched into each other.
And we still won! I like how I spent like 10-15 minutes earlier talking about how I thought Brightwing was pretty weak, then they drafted me into the perfect BW game (all AoE DoT enemy heroes - Lunara, Malthael, Leoric) and I went on a 0-death 20-kill streak lol.
@milk ducks FYI... My internet is run by a potato router, affixed with maple syrup to a set of moose antlers on my "ruff." So I couldn't stream snipe your twitch chan with game running and the gf streaming flix' all in one shot. - RIP
That was loads of fun, that's why I love the idea of these tournaments. You get to see a different side of your teammates and how difficult/easy they are to fight against.
Maybe next time I won't get rekt, ducks played this insane counter entomb with emerald winds. Every. God damn. Time. - Make no mistake, he is the deadliest duck I know.
Yeah, so Kel'Thuzad confirmed all but officially at this point.
First image was a crypt(lord)queen from the Arachnid Quarter of Naxxramas.
Second image was a death knight from the Military Quarter.
Corrupted Jaina seems like a Necromancer, representing the Plague Quarter.
I'm guessing the next teaser will feature Stitches, representing the Construct Quarter.
I'm willing to bet the firebat will be short-range dps like zarya's attack but with flames. I could see him being a multi class too. Tanky talents, more dmg, or a niche pick with some kind of old etc trait stim for resilience or dmg output. Ult would probably be like that god forsaken butcher ult.. or maybe something sweet like an aoe marked target / slow called - Molotov or Kerosine Kindling.
What, do all abominations look alike to you?! Patchwerk is unique and special.
And Hateful Strike is eternally burned into my memory after dying to him hundreds of times in vanilla.
I remember in vanilla when actual abilities on bosses were still sometimes complete mysteries for months trying to figure out exactly what to do so Patchwerk doesn't keep one shooting melee.
There are teams where he's not ideal but basically none where he's useless; he's one of the best choices for solo QM if you're trying to avoid giving yourself a headache.
Stukov free week has been going well. He is a really fun support. He also feels strong, which made me think he's going to get nerfed, but I see he's fairly middle of the road on Hotslogs, so I guess he's probably safe.
At least until they mess with all the talents that I like.

I'm getting this impression. In ranked though it can get awkward because everyone had their own opinion about whether or not he counts as a healer
I can handle it either way though. Kara hulks out at 16. But I like playing along with stukov and a divey tank

Stukov was probably one of the most balanced hero releases we've had in a while. He just had two particularly overperforming talents that got whacked but are still good, and he's generally second-ban material which feels like a good spot to be in balance-wise.
I'm dangerously close to literally just being like, fuck it, I'm a support main again.
I was a support main in Dota, climbed the preseason ladder as a support main, and now I'm coming back around. I really enjoy it. The only reason I ever stopped was because I was either playing solo or with folks I didn't trust to carry for me. In general, though, that's no longer a problem most of the time.

I don't know how much more messing they're going to do. Like Goat mentioned, he had two notoriously great talents on release that have since been toned down but are still worth taking if you're into them. That said, I tend to take Growing Infestation only vs. AI now. My use of Lurking Arm is very different against players than against bots. With the cooldown increase on Infestation, I tend to go Fetid Touch in QM. I prefer Infestation and Spine Launcher, functionally, but their drawbacks don't fit my play style.
Also, I haven't played Kharazim in ages. And even then, I've never really messed around with Insight before. It genuinely feels the best. I've just had two MVP wins in a row, and I'm pretty excited about adding him into my support rotation, which is getting a little stale. I'm typically supporting on Li Li, Malfurion and Rehgar. I need to add Uther and Kharazim into my rotation pretty badly. I've known that for a while.

My experience has been that unless you're building Kharazim specifically as a secondary bruiser and take Iron Fists, Insight is absolutely the way to go. It can increase his mobility, healing, or damage, depending on what you need at the time -- thus, his versatility, which is a lot of why I play Kharazim at all.
Insight is the only real option. You can barely even argue for Iron Fist if you were going full blown DPS.
Insight allows you to talent up into having a permanent-E along with a vastly reduced healing cooldown... turns you into a really good scrapper and gives you the ability to almost solo bosses

I feel like there's legitimacy to this because I can kinda buy it thematically, and because in Duck's spoiler list
he has seven listed abilities. Granted it's entirely possible that he has something default on the number row, but I think they want to make more multiclass characters.
Notably, Anna also has seven listed abilities, and could be in a similar boat. While I don't play Overwatch, I know she could be another multiclass template splitting support or (probably) assassin. Again, I'm sure they want someone else to fill that bracket besides Varian.

Previously when leaks have listed "abilities" it's not always been accurate and ended up as a list of abilities and also talents and other things. One assumes because something changed in development between leaks or because of what the leaker has access to and so they don't correlate 1:1 with the released hero. So basically you can't really read anything into specific information he gives beyond what heroes are coming. That's been true in the past anyway.
(It's been my suspicion based on what turns out right and wrong that the HOTS leaker is somewhere in the art asset pipeline or something. So they see all the names and such but aren't intimately involved in the design and testing process. But that's just me randomly speculating.)

DISCLAIMER: I play Iron Fists on Kharazim pretty much exclusively. Even when I'm the solo healer! Especially when I'm the solo healer. So with that out of the way:
Insight is good. But it is not the only way to play him nor is it mandatory.
Iron Fists is also real real good. Your healing won't be as high as Insight but I've still kept up with other healers no problem when taking Iron Fists.
So you end up with acceptable healing but insane amounts of damage, that no other Kharazim build can even get close to. Iron Fists literally actually turns him into an Assassin With A Heal. You can blow up squishies, pressure out tanks/frontline, and burst people down like nobody's business. You have insanely good chase, you can stick on people like crazy. And you're really, really hard to punish.
And you have an Ult that BLOWS PEOPLE THE EFF UP. Tanks, mostly. But it's damn good burst.
And you still have good healing.
Now I definitely do not agree with "Iron Fists works only if you're not taking Dash talents" because you're literally supposed to build into Dash talents with Iron Fists. Iron Fists is 100% centered around Way of the Hundred Fists at 16. So to that end, you want 3 Dash Charges from Blinding Speed. Hell, you NEED 3 Dash Charges. You can take Quicksilver at 13 if you want, that's a really good talent, but that one isn't like mandatory for Iron Fists like Blinding Speed is.
I don't play Kharazim like a secondary bruiser either, I play him like a full on aggro-as-fuck dive-into-the-backline Assassin. I jump on the squishies and blow them up. Force them out of the fight or kill them. Then I'm back in with my team. Or I literally just stay on a tank and make them cry. Like, Kharazim vs Anub'arak is one of the MOST FREE matchups ever. You just punch that fucker cause you're 100% Physical Damage and that asshole doesn't have Phys Armor. So his baby-tier Health Pool can't stand up to your MANLY FISTS OF JUSTICE.
So Iron Fists is good. It's really good. It even has the highest winrate! But it's not the only way to play him, either. Insight is just as good! But that too, is not the only way to play him.
Iron fists is frequently better just because of the movespeed proc.
it's secretly the best part of iron fists.
It's literally The Thing that made Iron Fists viable to begin with!
It's super good.

If you're Karazhim and you're against a Murky, pick Iron Fists and just never stop punching the fish (except to punch puffer). It'll make their life hell. One of the hardest counters in the game.
Playing some Garrosh today to complete quests. They really need to fix all the bugs with his fucking E.
The weekend is strong with this weekend though. Holy crap, some of these games. Lost 2 in a row on Towers of Doom and then Blackheart's Bay. Both times because my team was like, allergic to laning or something. We got 6 capped, even if only for about 5 seconds, at the ~8 minute mark on ToD. I didn't even know you could do that. And the second barrage on BHB took out a fucking keep. I have no idea how people fail this bad at holding lanes down. And it's not like you can do anything about it on Garrosh since he's got the waveclear of a debuffed Morales. It's like "Hey, someone clear top. Hey, someone clear bot. Hey, what the fuck are you idiots doing? Why are they taking bot and top forts simultaneously and uncontested with only 1 person each?". Just ... sigh.
At least there were a few good games. Had a Haunted Mines that was just fucking dirty. Garrosh + Butcher + Alarak with a Medic backing us up. We just bullied them so hard because the minute they stepped forward or got in range, it was massive amounts of displacement and then we'd explode them. I'd have felt bad for them at the end but they had a 2-man trying to run a Valla-Auriel battery combo in QM so fuck them in the ear, they deserve it.
Then had an Infernal Shrines where I was just fucking the other team up but good. Our Muradin was diving and doing tons of wreckage to their backline and I was getting great Q->E->Body Check combos on people and then Naz would just fuck them up. And then our shitty Tychus kept screaming that I was being carried and was shit and all my flips were terrible and I have no idea what he was on about so I kept laughing at him and being like "Oh look, I'm 2nd highest damage in game and second most kills again. Oh, there goes Dva! There goes Tracer!".
Bring on the weekdays, please. This weekend was so bad.
Also Naz's Ravenous Spirit + Garrosh's Decimate is a nasty combo. The fact that you can outrun the Spirit is one of the biggest ways to deal with it. And Garrosh's ability to slow a ton of people for a ton of time mean that thing does tons and tons of work.
