Is two points the lowest we've gotten in the pick'ems?
Also lol everyone will pick Penn State.

WEEK 8: ALABAMA SURVIVED LAST WEEK'S CULLING BECAUSE OF COURSE THEY DID
Straight Up (spread in parenthesis courtesy of ESPN)
#10 Oklahoma State (-7) @ Texas - I have been told to tell you to stop picking Texas for your health. Just passing that along.
#11 Convicts @ #13 Catholics (-3.5) - I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE THE METEOR WILL WIN JUST THIS ONCE. YOU DESTROYED UCLA'S DEFENSE THIS YEAR, AT LEAST GIVE ME THAT.
Wake Forest @ Georgia Tech (-6) - Wake Forest has lost their last 2 games after starting the season 4-0, but those games were against Florida State and Clemson, and the Demon Deacons didn't get embarrassed in those games, so that's good. Georgia Tech should have beaten Miami last week, but the rules of Mark Richt state that Miami needs to win a few more games before things go down the toilet.
Arizona (-3) @ California - Khalil Tate has only started two games for the Wildcats this year, but he's run for 557 yards in those 2 games, to go with 21/26 passing attempts, because he's probably the best player in football (don't look at the defenses of the two teams he faced). Cal pulled off a complete asskicking of Washington State last week, which means they'll probably get blown up this week for no reason. Cal Football: Making no sense since forever.
Against the Spread (spread in parenthesis courtesy of Yahoo)
Tennessee @ #1 Alabama (-34.5) - IT'S THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER! True story: for every game, I go through the schedule to find the matchups, get any applicable rankings, and get the spread for the Straight Up games, and for one fleeting moment, I started to do that for this game, before remembering that one team is Alabama, and the other willingly employs Butch Jones.
Syracuse @ #8 Miami (-16.5) - MIAMI IS BACK! Also boy it would be the funniest thing if Syracuse and Dino Babers (who is now the frontrunner for Guy I Want UCLA to Bring in to Replace Mora BRING DINO HOME!) claim their second top-10 scalp in 2 weeks.
#21 Auburn (-15.5) @ Arkansas - Berttober is not Bertvember, which means Arkansas is probably losing this, but at least Arkansas fans can take solace in the fact that Bert's buyout is actually only $5.9 million, rather than the $15 million that it was believed to be. That's progress you can believe in as a Razorbacks fan.
Wyoming @ Boise State (-13.5) - I had 2 midterms and a separate teaching strategies paper due this week. I'm not analyzing this game. Good luck here.
GAME OF THE CENTURY OF THE WEEK (spread in parenthesis courtesy of Yahoo) (AGAINST THE SPREAD)
#19 Michigan @ #2 Penn State (-9.5) - I predict no one will be happy after this game! You can take that prediction to the bank. Michigan doesn't really have an offense, and Penn State's offense consists of giving the bally to Barkley and prayer (which, coincidentally, is a better offensive gameplan than most choices). Both of these defenses are good, though, so expect some B1G T3N FOOTBALL.
This was definitely confusing me for a bit. I had to go check ND and USC's rankings to make sure... I assume this is some USC/UCLA hatred?
Aaaaaaaaanyway...
Straight Up #10 Oklahoma State (-7) @ Texas Iowa State @ Texas Tech (-7) - C'mon chaos!
#11 Convicts @ #13 Catholics (-3.5) - GO IRISH (proceeds to hide from TV's/phones for entirety of game)
Wake Forest @ Georgia Tech (-6)
Arizona (-3) @ California
Against the Spread Tennessee @ #1 Alabama (-34.5) - Oh come the fuck on!
Syracuse @ #8 Miami (-16.5) #21 Auburn (-15.5) @ Arkansas
Wyoming @ Boise State (-13.5)
GotCotW (AtS) #19 Michigan @ #2 Penn State (-9.5) - Goddamnit, Khakis, get it together. Also a QB. You may wanna try and get one of those too.
(I just noticed the image at the top of the Google Forms page is animated. Oooooooooooooh.)

How is Miami playing in two games this week
Munkus Beaver on
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Man, CBS Sports Network does not want anyone to watch college football in any way unless they're sitting in their own place and watching it with their cable subscription on a TV.
(Setting up streaming for my parents on the go has been less than great.)
Straight Up
Oklahoma State @ Texas: maybe we can win a close game at home? maybe? anyone? Bueller?
Iowa State @ Texas Tech: this is gonna be some Big 12 ass Big 12 football Southern California @ Noter Dame
Wake Forest @ Georgia Tech
Arizona @ California: this is some prime Pac-12 after dark at Berkeley opportunity here
Against the Spread
Tennessee @ Alabama (-34.5): Yeah I think Tennessee's trend of unable to get a TD continues at Bama Syracuse @ Miami (-16.5) Auburn (-15.5) @ Arkansas
Wyoming @ Boise State (-13.5)
Game of the Week (AGAINST THE SPREAD) Michigan @ Pennsylvania State (-9.5): Go Blue
Straight Up #10 Oklahoma State (-7) @ Texas - You can't make me pick Texas! also everyone owes Oghulk all the apologies Iowa State @ Texas Tech (-7) - I have no idea! Iowa State is hot right now, so let's see if that continues. #11 Southern California @ #13 Notre Dame (-3.5) - I don't really have adequate hatred for an authentic "fuck Notre Dame," so... "meh"?
Wake Forest @ Georgia Tech (-6) - I already regret this pick.
Arizona (-3) @ California - Team Slot Machine!
Against the Spread
Tennessee @ #1 Alabama (-34.5) - Rollol Tide Syracuse @ #8 Miami (-16.5) - Miami wins close games. #21 Auburn (-15.5) @ Arkansas - Auburn has lit a few teams up this season, and Arkansas is terrible. Wyoming @ Boise State (-13.5) - Someone said these are in fact football teams, but don't believe those lies.
GotCotW (AtS) #19 Michigan @ #2 Penn State (-9.5) - FUCK Penn State. This will probably cost me 2 points.
Triptycho: A card-and-dice tabletop indie RPG currently in development and playtesting
Straight Up
Oklahoma State @ Texas - Honestly at this point I think the biggest loser this entire season is Oghulk's liver Iowa State @ Texas Tech - Ohhhhhh there's nothin' half-way/about the I-o-wa way to greet you if we greet you which we may not do at all Notre Dame - Fuck USC
Wake Forest @ Georgia Tech - Sister, worked there, etc. California - I feel like I keep picking Cal and being wrong.
Against the Spread
Tennessee @ Alabama (-34.5) - That is so many points, but every time I say "That is so many points, I can't see Bama covering" they do. Syracuse @ Miami (-16.5) - More like... uh... Syracwho vs Whyami? I don't know. Auburn (-15.5) @ Arkansas - Where's the game that's actually important? Wyoming @ Boise State (-13.5) - Wait I think we're coming up to it....
Game of the Week (AGAINST THE SPREAD)
Michigan @ Pennsylvania State (-9.5) - WE ARE

It's the largest spread in the Alabama v Tennessee rivalry history.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Straight Up Oklahoma State @ Texas - The Big12est Big12 team there is. Texas can certainly play anybody tough, but I love OKSU too much to ever not pick them.
Iowa State @ Texas Tech - Never forget
Southern California @ Notre Dame - I want to vomit making this pick, but USC hasn't really looked great against anybody esp with their run defense. ND kinda runs real gud and are at home.
Wake Forest @ Georgia Tech - GT doesn't really have let down games, so at home I think they take out the frustration of Richt sorcery on the Demon Deacons Arizona @ California - THEY HAVE TO BE BAD DAMMIT! I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL! WHY AREN'T THEY BAD!?
Against the Spread
Tennessee @ Alabama (-34.5) - This spread is enormous, but it's probably the most Sabin thing to cover the biggest spread in a rivalry's history and blast another coach out of the conference. Nicky never misses a chance to kick em when they're down. Syracuse @ Miami (-16.5) - Has Miami really been blowing people out this year? They squeaked by their two big games in unconvincing fashion so forgive me if I don't want to predict a 17 point win (cue Miami run to the CFB Playoff) Auburn (-15.5) @ Arkansas - No magic here, Arkansas is just plain bad and Auburn wants to rip somebody apart after last week.
Wyoming @ Boise State (-13.5) - Well they pulled it off last week, but more importantly this is your weekly reminder that Wyoming nor their 'wonderkid' QB are good. They're not good.
Game of the Week (AGAINST THE SPREAD) Michigan @ Pennsylvania State (-9.5) - Man this spread is brutal. PSU has some shaky peripheral stuff going on, but remains pretty good. UofM is being weird, but their defense is still freakishly good and I can't imagine their offense remaining quite this bad, but they are on the road against another good passing D team. I hate it, but I can't see enough points to go around to get to 10 for PSU and I kinda smell upset here.

Shit, I'm going to pick Penn state
On that note I'm actually going to pick this week I never get around to it
Only getting 2 is like getting 8 or 9, right?
Sorry, you need to get all picks incorrect in order to shoot the moon in the College Football Pick'Em™
I can has cheezburger, yes?
I'll be watching from the eastern time zone for...the first time ever...
Maybe we'll finally win a close fucking game since we'll be at home this weekend and Maryland doesn't count.
I just checked and it looks like you didn't post your picks in the thread. Unfortunately that means I have no other way to verify. I'm sorry
