Edit: I've added one oif each chair we have in stock around the stage (near the stargate). I've cleared a couple of the decorations around there so there should be space for the other types of chairs as and when we get them in stock
I'm like 12,000 achievement points behind you. I need to crank out some acheevs so I can get the rest of the Radiant set.
It's amazing how many achievements there are in the game. I just unlocked another hidden collection.
If you talk to the brewer in the monastery in Queensdale, you can join a beer of the month club for 10g. Every month a new beer is mailed to you, and there are 12 to collect.
Yes - it's a year long collection.
I just hit 8000 points, and though I was doing well. I have no idea how you'd even get near 20000, let alone past it.

If you weren't around for season 1 or early time gated achievements then it's most likely you'll never get close to 20,000 points.
Season 1 gave so many more points for trivial things. Like 15 points for talking to a couple of refugees and fixing signposts.
most of the available guild hall chairs are now by the stage. There's 1 type by the nodes.. arms(near nodes) vs no arms( by stage) but didn't give different achievement point I don't think
I think that's all of them... except the spooky ones

Oh, I remember Season 1. I never did kill the giant clockwork Scarlet.
I think I actually levelled my ranger to 80, just defending Lions Arch.
I really wish Season 1 was replayable, I'd love to run it again.
I thought I wanted those neato weapon skins from playing the adventure box. Then I played the adventure box. Jumping puzzles are bad yall. Or maybe just my spacebar is or something, but dear lord has it never seemed consistent.

I've stated my opinion of jumping puzzles on here before, but the added issue I have in SAB is the camera. It's that vertigo-inducing camera that gets me, which makes me dread doing anything indoors in-game.
Though I don't know if there was drama around it, if you/anyone like it and find them fun, more power to you! I love a variety of Marios and super meat boy. But woof does jumping feel bad to me in this game, at least for platforming. For general getting around it's fine. And I feel bad for the programmers of an MMO with jumping puzzles.
Just makes me sad I won't get those neato skins, which is also fine, content can be gates like that.

Jumping around mostly works in the game but it starts to break down when you need precision due to very small platforms or trying to guess which texture on the model is the one you'll be allowed to get traction on. It's miles ahead of most MMOs (I have gotten stuck on so many bizarre things in ESO) but that doesn't translate into great jumping puzzles.
The best ones I've done in the game have been the ones that had less precision involved but instead some sort of mechanic to spice things up. SAB is not included in that list.
I find the collision detection super generous in GW2. Jumping puzzles are one of my favorite parts of the game, and the 'Box might be my favorite thing in any MMO.
But I have spent literally years breaking the collision physics of other games to jump into places I shouldn't, so, y'know, that could be a factor.
Announcing NICE's first Super Adventure Challenge!
After Missions next week (8th April) we'll be running our first SAB challenge! The goal is to complete normal-mode SAB as quickly as possible, in a team!
Prizes will be awarded to:
The team who completes first
The top 3 "points" earners. Points are awarded for arriving at a checkpoint first or second (as long as you didn't kill yourself to get to the checkpoint). We'll have an officer* in each team keeping track!
Current plan (subject to change!)
Prizes
We've got a lot of very nice shineys languishing in the guild bank. Will you focus on the team award or the individual? Will you help your comrades or run off ahead making them wait for platform respawns?
Individual Prizes
First Prize is Electro Blue Dye
Second Prize is Beastslayer Greatsword Skin
Third Prize is Mystic Forge Conduit
Team Prize
The team who win will get their choice of 20 ecto or 20 T6 (Dust/Fang/Totems/Ori/Leather) each (and 20 wigs, because why not)
Other teams will earn 100 Princess Maya wigs by way of compensation
Rules!
Each team will contain someone who has a torch and an officer to keep track of scores*
Everyone will need push unlocked
"Complete" is defined as defeating the Robbers and completing every world back to back
Shortcut Worm/Eagle are allowed (and encouraged!)
Officers ARE eligible for the team prize. We're a part of the team after all
Officers are NOT eligible for the individual prize. They'll be "skipped" if they're first or second.
* If we don't have enough officers, some veteran novices have volunteered to step in They will remain eligible for all prizes.
P.S It would be helpful to know if you're joining us for the SAB challenge so I can get a rough idea of numbers. (I've got scoring spreadsheets to set up and scorers to annoy )
Congratulations to the winners of our first SAB challenge!
Team Awesome won the team challenge: Itegami, Goldy and myself
Team Pretty won the wig consolation prize (which may be worth more than the winning team prizes with an economy shift...)
Individual awards went to:
1st: Saeris
2nd: Goldy
3rd: Itegami (though only 1 between Itegami and Goldy, was VERY close!)
So I went into tribulation mode for the first time today. there's some mean, mean little parts in there. dodgejumping the bully rocks is handcrampingly miserable. I got world 1 zone 1 done so far!
Looks like they’re finally divorcing the bonuses from harvesting tools from the skin.
Glyphs
Gathering tool skins have been added to the account wardrobe. These skins can now be applied to gathering tools using transmutation charges.
Gathering tools can now be equipped with glyphs. Glyphs are a new type of upgrade that give your gathering tools additional beneficial properties when gathering, and they can be freely moved between tools without using an upgrade extractor.
If your account has been upgraded with a Guild Wars 2™ expansion or core game purchase, we've sent you an in-game mail with further information on glyphs. Detailed information can be found on the Guild Wars 2 blog at guildwars2.com.
A new Black Lion Glyph Selection Container with a choice of glyph is available at no cost for two weeks only. Limit one per account. Only available to Core, Heart of Thorns™, or Path of Fire™ accounts.
Glyphs
With the addition of glyphs, gathering tools that already have bonus properties can be traded for new versions that convert their bonuses to glyphs at the Black Lion Exchange Specialist located in the Trader's Forum in Lion's Arch. Glyphs can be obtained from the Black Lion Chests in the Rare category, or as part of a bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools.
Gathering merchants have been added to each major city, the Royal Terrace, the Havoc's Heir, Noble's Folly, the Lava Lounge, the Mistlock Sanctuary, and the Lily of the Elon. These merchants sell enhanced gathering tools that duplicate the bonus effects of glyphs but have limited charges and no glyph slots.
The Black Lion Trader in Lion's Arch has been replaced with the Black Lion Exchange Specialist. In addition to trading clothing tonics for outfits, Black Lion Exchange Specialists can exchange the Watchwork Mining Pick, the Lucky Dog Harvesting Tool, and Infinite Unbound Magic Gathering Tools for updated versions that convert each tool's bonus gathering rewards property into a glyph.

Double tap to dodge is the one true way.
All of the design is aces, I love how they brought in the 3-d 8-bit style and animation.

Turns out, plants have leather on them! Who'd a thunk?
Also, the SAB Trib mode reward https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Duskk%27s_World_1_Super_Boom_Box plays the metal versions of the tracks, and my life may now be complete.
