My sister in law paints portraits of Wander; this is the second, given to me on my birthday two days ago, with the original photo (top floor apartment during torrential rain scared her but good, so I got on the floor and held her until the rain stopped)
This is just her after she thought she saw a bug and I called her a dummy because it was a piece of lint.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor My new novel: Maledictions: The Offering. Now in Paperback!
In these trying times, Snugglehugs are more helpful than ever so thanks again for this thread existing. What has also helped is watching the latest Ninja Sex Party video several times, as it is rather uplifting.
I found out you can buy Hyena pups here and in Texas
Like owning a skunk this seems more like a dare than owning a pet
I've played with someone's descented pet skunk, and they were super sweet and nice, but even then I have to admit, it seemed like a risky plan for that to be a permanent thing.
because even descented, they still have giant face rending claws.
Hyenas I think are like Cheetah that they are tame around humans for the most part but still should not be fully trusted since they're wild animals.
This is true of a bunch of prey animals too like skunks, chipmunks, hedgehogs, etc. Prey animals can be just as deadly as predators when they get grumpy.
Don't invest in non-domesticated animals if you aren't willing to be a zookeeper though.
not a doctor, not a lawyer, examples I use may not be fully researched so don't take out of context plz, don't @ me

I had a coyote so there is a grey area of what I am willing to take on but that area is vast
Just owning a hyena is one of those questions of why? again they are not native to here yet someone is breeding them seems far more questionable than I getting one

Both of those are very good illustrations of dog adaptability. No other animal is capable of going from "Something is wrong here" to "Well, this is my life now, pretty rad I guess" more quickly than dogs.
