pitch: a will-they-won't-they romance soap opera where the protagonists are super into each other and are actually totally ready to actually form an official stable relationship, but they're aware that their universe will cease to exist if they ever actually get together because the story will be over and it will stop getting published, so they have to pretend to be morons who do all the dramatic relationship cliches of their genre.
Until they can find a way to break the fourth wall and cause the death of the author as revenge for their torment.

I am sad Staub never finished his story for drive, but then i remember what hes working on at the moment in addition to continuing broodhollow and suddenly I'm cool with it.

This is a recurring problem with the creator, isn't it. There was Midlands, which basically rebooted two or three times through its run, then Heliothaumic, which also had an attempted reboot midway through, and then the brief one about Egypt or something?
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.
