    Wow, these are the first videos I've seen of the gameplay and it actually looks pretty awesome. I was already planning on buying because I just like PA and want to support them, and this just cements my decision.

    What's interesting is to see the mixed reaction from folks on those videos - some people think it's great, some people think it's terrible, but to be honest, those videos don't show a whole lot period. To top it off, what hasn't been revealed is what I consider to be one of the, if not the most important element to the game, which is the writing from Jerry. I'm excited for everyone to finally see it!

    Also, there hasn't been any looks at the "adventure" part.

    All we really know about is the combat and a little bit of the dialog style.

    There's so much more to see from this game.

    Originally I thought, "Hey this game will probably be interesting, but I'll be a bit disappointed by it" to, "Holy shit this is really going to be amazing!"

    I know I should have known this from the beginning, but please forgive me.

    I dig how the screen is now more reminiscent of a several-paneled comic page instead of the steampunk frame they gave it in the earlier videos. The mini-games to do advanced attacks are a lot cooler this time around as well.

    I don't know if it was my computer or just the quality of the videos but I could barely read a word of what was said in the bubbles. The guy narrating it made a few great comments on the dialog but mostly Gabe's lines. I did like Tycho's bit about how a key landing on someone did not constitute legal ownership.

    yeah, when you play it the text is easy to read. Just a poor cap on the vid, that's all.

    It has a lot of point-and-click adventure-game elements, but also integrates the battle system you've been seeing in all of the coverage.

    I appreciate being acknowledged Great and Mighty Khoo, but not at any point was I afraid the actual game would not be readable.

    Just wondered if I could watch the vids on another computer to read the bubbles better. I guess not.
