THE THREAD SPEAK!
They might have put out the last movie in the Skywalker Saga*, but there's still lots of Star Wars to talk about!
There's a new season of Clone Wars currently airing on Disney+, and I can't wait to see how that Anakin fella saves the day!
There's a new season of Mandalorian coming out later this year!
They just announced a big publishing push in a new era called "The High Republic," which is something like 300 years before the movies! There's a Wookie Jedi!
And, most importantly, I'm playing a lot of SWTOR and want another place to talk about that

That's what they say, but come on. c'mon

I spent another year down that rabbit hole. I crafted an elaborate backstory and family tree for all my characters.
the amount of fashion, my god
I'm literally going through all the class stories in order to build up a legacy and a family tree
It's a real feeling of not being about to play the game until I'm a couple hundred hours in
Or maybe have the mechanical gear you equip be completely divorced from the cosmetic appearance of your character?
Reposting this since it was on the last page of the now-locked previous thread: Woolie and cover-artist Little V take on KotOR 2 with Woolie as the blind player much like he was in the SBFP-LP of the first game.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
SWTOR does both
I don’t understand this post this is something you can do
Unless you mean like unlock all customization from the get go which I can probably get behind but idk there’s something to having cool looking shit as a result of doing cool shit
Clone Wars
Looks like now they’re pointing toward Obi-Wan and Rex knowing as well. Obi-Wan having figured it out like Ahsoka and Rex maybe being looped in to cover for Anakin when need be
It’s definitely open to interpretation how much/what exactly they know, but it’s still an unexpected scene that I thought was cool and adds a neat layer to things
When in the hell during ROTS does Anakin have time to be off on this mission?
Edit: maybe I'm mixed up but she definitely a) looks pregnant and b) keeps holding her belly in the universal fiction sign for "pregnant" and he doesn't seem surprised
Revenge of the Sith won't start until just about the Siege of Mandalore, since Ahsoka says in Rebels that the last time she saw him he was leaving the Mandalore mission to rescue Palpatine
You ever think about just how weirdly bad tros was.
Like it was bad in just so many bizarre ways. There were so many choices happening, and so many dumb ones.
I’ve said before, a lot of the ideas that went into TROS aren’t necessarily bad, they were just executed in the dumbest way possible.
Like the cinematography, for one.
No, that's the Prequel Trilogy.
It has an elbow that's constantly nudging you and going "Eh? Eh? Remember that?"
WELL HE'S BACK
IN A TURRET
AS HE FAMOUSLY LOVED TO DO
Gonna go TROS spoilers just because I’m not sure...
More to Rey’s background!
Consequences for the heroes!
Cool Rebel fleet!
Defections from the FO!
A new lightsaber for Rey!
Force ghost Luke!
The Knights of Ren!
All sounds like it would be neat to see!
Until you see the film and realize
Rey is Sheev’s granddaughter.
They have 3 fake-out deaths! But Greg Gunberg is toast.
The fleet does nothing.
The defections mean nothing.
The new lightsaber is an afterthought.
Luke is less important in TROS than he was in TFA. Hell, Han is more important to TROS than Luke is.
The Knights of Ren are the biggest mooks in Star Wars history.
Wait what does th
FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRCE DYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)

It absolutely has ideas. The idea that Finn was the first of a group of child soldiers gifted empathy and the ability to rebel is great.
So why didn’t they have anything for them to do?
The part where Rey and Kylo are connected and even trade items from across the galaxy is cool. The way it’s invoked in the confrontation with Palpantine however is random garbage.
The movie didn't really have that as an idea. You had to want to interpret it that way.

The weirder part than having a faction of rebel ex-stormtroopers with nothing to do was having that faction and also having the main characters absolutely slaughter their way across a star destroyer.
