I mean at its peak Assassin's Creed released two full titles in a year and then dropped a new one the next year, I don't think Far Cry is quite there yet

farcry has never been annualized in the same way, so I guess it's probably extended the lifespan a bit

It's not quite annual, but they're definitely hitting some big releases every other year, with some smaller projects filling in some of the gaps.
EDIT: Looks like Far Cry 6 is rumored for a February 2021 release date.
