National Treasure is so much fun. I can't wait for the second movie to come out on HD-DVD or whatever.
I've only seen trailers
It looked like the worst thing ever
I know, I don't even remember why I decided to watch it, I think it was on TNT when there was nothing else on or something. But I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Part of it is I'm just a sucker for history-related stuff, though. USA's been running it a lot. If you get USA, you should try catching it.

The problem with National Treasure is that it’s completely reliant on a chain of highly unlikely coincidences.
I can’t imagine a second film being any better.
I have a pretty high tolerance for flimsy plotlines if I find the experience enjoyable, like if the characters were likeable, which the three leads were, mostly just due to the actors' personal charisma, though. I'll agree that the plot was cliche and farfetched, and the character development was flimsy, but the actors seem to have some chemistry that just made them a fun buddy team to tag along with. That and Sean Bean is H-O-T!
Also, these don't fit with the spirit that comes to mind with "fuckawesome," but definitely classic library films:
The Lion in Winter
Philadelphia Story
Rear Window
Zoolander
History of the World Part I
Robin Hood, Men in Tights
A Shot in the Dark
Clue
The Court Jester
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Casablanca
The Grass is Greener
Quick. Name some incredibly fuck-awesome movies for me to buy.
Die Hard Series
Pirates of the Carribbean series
Indiana Jones series.
Alien Trilogy
Back to the Future Trilogy
Terminator 2
I got all those... but my BTTF trilogy is in fullscreen because of the widescreen fuckup when they came out. Any way to get the corrected widescreen edition and know that you are getting it? I'd hate to buy the fucked up one.

My IIGS had no internal drives, but had an external 3.5" and an external 5.25". It was badass. Had color, even.
Tape? What is this fad? Give me punch-cards any day!

To be fair, many films are reliant on chains of highly unlikely coincidences.
