Oh my that wall is looking super sweet!
Wonderful and inviting vibes in that space.
Jijiji thanks for the nice words! Funny you say inviting cause the final mural will have a doormat with the words “Welcome” in Spanish 🙌🙌
Unrelated but happy about it nonetheless. I’ve been making stickers for my online store https://mabsarts.storenvy.com for about a year now and this last batch came out perfect and with so many choices of paper that I can safely say that I’ve mastered the art of sticker printing.
That's coming along great! Where is this going to get put up? For a client I assume?
It’s actually already there. I’m painting directly on the wall with spray paint.
It’s not really a client project, it’s more of a personal piece for the abandoned basketball court around my mom’s house where I grow up. It’s been abandoned by the government for a while now and the neighbors and I are fixing it up slowly but surely.
That's so cool, what a great way to improve the neighborhood
Agreed! It would be awesome if the government had a project for artists to paint old abandoned buildings, that’s make the community so much prettier!!!
Almost done with this big boy btw.
Gotta finish the top brick work and outline everything and one last pass of cast shadows and it should be good to go.
Oooh these are nice AntonioMabs!
I am loving the gesture of the shark in the left-hand corner in particular. Very strong C-curve for the main line of force (think Michael Mattesi's Force books https://www.amazon.com/FORCE-Drawing-Human-Anatomy-Force/dp/0415733979).
Your gestures are getting better and better, keep it up

Awesome book suggestion!! Added it to my list.
Still trynna figure out how to make better lines. I came across the terms “economy of line and line mileage” and it got my thinking about how many marks I make. I’m still making too making but at least now I’m conscious of it.
Here’s today figure drawing sess:
I’ve had a productive week. Finished asome of my client work.
Here’s the final cover:
Did this portrait for a client:
But they wanted it more cartoony:
Did this vector logo:
And had the joy of designing Origami cars for a client:
Love these origami cars! Did you design the folded bits too, or was it focused on the pattern?
Sounds like you really did have a productive week
Just the patterns, I was working off a template the client provided. It was a fun project, gonna try and see if I can print them out today. I’ll post pics if it works out.
Loving the Colors and Light book, I can already understand the concepts and apply them better. Started painting this and woow I am happy with the growth!
Thanks! Yeah I got a bunch of books thanks to everyone’s recommendation so I’m thinking the combined knowledge will strengthen my skills and a couple of re-reads would not hurt at all.
All good stuff, especially the isometric room. If I was going to add any critic, it’s just that those hands need work on the blonde woman, but I’m sure you’ll equal out the sizes on a second pass.

Simple and to the point.

Foot cameo included 😂
Haven’t been to a con to sell yet but I’ve done a couple artists marketplaces, some have been real good others not so much, but the store helps a lot.

Thanks for the book recommendation! Loving it 🙏
Loving the plane and dog design! They’ve got tons of style
Haven’t posted figures in a while so here you go.
Today I’m collabing with another muralist on this piece:
