It's to be expected based on the time table, but Coco confirmed that the next Meme review will be (her) last one. Since she herself suggested it, I wouldn't mind someone like Kanata trying to pick up that torch, but logistically it'll be difficult. Having a bilingual host made lots of different content possible and Coco also had an understanding of memes that other members are clearly lacking in. So I don't know.
Yeah I can't blame Kanata from wanting to carry on her friends project but Kiara is really the only one who can translate and explain memes from Reddit to other members.

Yeah. I think one of the HoloEN folks would be in the best position to continue it. I'd love to see Ame, but I don't think her Japanese is strong enough.
Also she asked Yagoo to be on the last meme review but he said no. If she's to be believed.

She was talking about a previous time when Yagoo turned her down.

Kiara isn't the same either because her online history and knowledge is totally different from Coco's. It's very clear from her streams that certain cultural context is not in her wheelhouse (which is not a fault at all, there are just things she does not know about). More importantly, the person doing the review should have a fondness for memes and stupid jokes in general. No one should be forced into a recurring segment just to carry on a tradition from their friend. I'd be interested to see Kanata attempt meme review as a special occasion to see what she'd make out of it (I suspect something fascinating with trying to hack the language and context from a near zero starting point), but I don't want her to get in over her head with a commitment not in her style.

Speaking of crossing the language barrier, https://youtu.be/FtLdLlbP7SY
I think Uto is a cut above. Almost any Japanese streamer will mention that they're trying to pick up some English, but Uto is clearly working her tail off on this.

Calli and Kiara co-hosting a meme review could work, with Calli explaining more of the nuances of certain meme stuff to Kiara, with hilarity ensuing, but I imagine they're both busy enough with their own streaming schedules as is. So yeah, I guess we'll just see how Kanata handles it and if management wants her to continue it.
That hashtag made me realise that with Coco leaving, Reine takes over as tallest Hololive member, and Botan becomes the tallest JP member, but only 3rd tallest overall
Coco: "Teach me to say Mother Fu**er in a polite way."
Reine: "Yeah, we need a polite way to say it. We can't say Mother Fu**er, guys! Keeping it family friendly."
Chat: "Uh...."
The God Knows endurance stream is something she did in her previous persona

It'd still be cute and funny of this whole new intro thing she's doing is sincere, but I'd love it even more if it's a work designed to tweak her audience, feeding into the antagonistic-affectionate Pekora/Nousagi relationship:
The flood of Gura birthday fanworks begins. I'm not going to post everything I've seen because she said she was going to showcase during stream, but these are very good.

Suisei has some serious "former" chuuni energy so of course she's up for this, but don't know enough about Choco to make an opinion.

Nyanners and her thin neck (I love this animation style).

Really cool to see this after asacoco, hoping this is the standard going forward for big 3d lives
Also mayuyu is teasing a return and a new outfit in an...unconventional way
Apparently HoloID Gen 2 has a sink curse.
Also RIP Reine. Coco killed her for teaching her Shitty Indonesian:
