We have recently performed maintenance on the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Beta Center and need your help to test it!
We are requesting that all current beta testers please update their DirectX Diagnostic Files (DxDiag), so we can ensure that our records are current and that the changes we have made are working properly for all Beta Center users.
Your login is the email address you provided when you first signed up for beta using the Beta Center. If you cannot remember your password, click on the "Forgot Password?" link. An email will be sent to your valid Beta Center email address with instructions on changing your password.
How to change your DxDiag
Once you have logged into your beta center account at the bottom of the main page, you will find a section called Beta Center File Information.
Below that, you will find your DxDiag information with a link to "Update Your DxDiag File" on the right-hand side.
Click the link and follow the instructions on the page to ensure that the correct file is properly generated and uploaded.
That's all there is to it!

I got one too. Freaked out for a few minutes thinking I was in, then noticed my beta status on the betacenter still said "applied"
My fingers are crossed that this means I'm about to get an invite.

edit: Random thought. I wonder if the Black Mantle (and it's counterpart) are, in part, so popular 'cause they're just about the first decent pieces of Warhammer-related clothing ever. However circuitous a connection that may be.
Who would actually wear the Black Mantle in public though? I have mine and I don't think I will, people will only be able to read a few words like bone, blood and go "911, there be a freak here with a gun". As explained to me by a British person, anyone wearing a hoodie is obviously some sort of criminal.

Only if its a non-black hoodie, normally some sort of cheap sports brand like umbro. A black hoodie, especially like the mantle one would just label you as some sort of rocker, and you would be fine.

My hatred of Linkin Park is nearly supernatural, and rivaled only by my loathing of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Fallout Boy. And Avril "The Fucking Banshee" Lavine. And a lot of other bands that one is forced to hear because they're on commercials and TV all the time.
I agree, btw. Well, except Mighty Mighty Bostones, but I don't think a lot of people have ever heard of them down here, at least they've never been on the telly. I kinda enjoy listening to their old CDs every now and then.

Playing Dark Eldar in the Soulstorm demo made me pretty excited for a bit, but that last Video of the Month murdered it right quick. Then I looked at Witch Hunter concept art and it was all better.
I have decided on Black Orc for my first main, though. WAAAAGH.
I have a set of names I use in every MMO.
The only hard choice, at first, is if I should name my Chaos fella Accualt or Geocyde.
Any DE I may make would assuredly be Sintel, as was my DE Rogue from EQ.
Goblin would be Asgro, since they are like green, filthy, perverse versions of Gnomes.

I don't see any issue with wearing the Mantle in public. It goes well with my Three Inches of Blood beanie and my axe.
