Renaissance doctors thought that cutting you open and dumping a couple of pints of blood would make mental problems better. By comparison, doing a little dance and giving a free show for “inspiration” will at least do no direct damage. Though it probably works better if the patient is conscious.

oh it's easy, dave enters the game while jack noir (or as his this form is sometimes referred to, Jackspers Noirlecrow) massacres the carapacians on the battlefield as the white queen uses a skaia portal to go to the future earth as the draconian dignitary uses ecobiology to create Becquerel, the First Guardian of earth (we will eventually learn that he did this because he was being mind-controlled by Vriska). Jack Noir's rampage continues throughout the incipisphere, where he first battles Bro on the Beat Mesa, where Bro uses his katana to begin the process for initiating the Scratch before absconding. Then Jack cuts Prospit's moon lose, setting it hurdling toward Skaia and threatening to kill Dream John before he wakes up when it crashes into the Battlefield. Dream Jade sacrifices herself to save her brother as the paradox clones of the kids and their guardians are sent through the skaian portals on meteors to various times and places, where they will eventually grow up to become the characters we know

Honestly this was when it was easy to understand what was happening. And then almost immediately it became boring when all the action came to a screeching halt for yet another set of characters to meander around.
