Bruno is interesting because usually the villain song is sung by the villain
I'm gonna split some hairs here, but usually the villain is involved in some way with the song. It is often, but not always, them singing the main role. Bruno is here by way of flashback and metamorphosis.
Gaston and Ratigan's songs are not primarily sung by the villain, but they do join in for a few lines. It is pretty common in Disney movies for the villain song to be a chorus description of what the villain is and what their deal is.
Spoilers for Encanto:
The Abuela is the closest thing that the movie gets to an actual villain, and she does get a token line in the song.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Further Encanto spoilers
The song also sets up the fact that Bruno is still in the house. "I can hear him muttering and mumbling." Present tense. "Always left Abuela and the family fumbling/Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand/Do you understand?" Setting up that Bruno is not malevolent, but extremely misunderstood by his family. Specifically mentions Abuela separate from the family, because she was an extremely driving force behind Bruno feeling unwanted.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
The blink-and-you'll-miss-it look on Mirabel's face right as Isabella descends from the heavens, glowing and idolized on a bed of flowers, during "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is thirty minutes worth of sibling character development in a single "this shit again" glance

Huh.
I would not have noticed that.

I agree that villain songs are usually the best song in any given musical.
I actually consider Hunchback to be an exception though. I love "Bells of Notre Dame". The part where the statues of the saints scare the shit out of Frollo by giving him the stink eye is the peak of the movie. It's all downhill from there.
I feel like referring to "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" or any other typical Disney schoolgirl crush song as a horny song is doing a disservice to the only song in Disney's library that's legitimately horny, "Let Me Be Good to You" from the Great Mouse Detective. It is a song sung by stripper mice about enticing arousal that has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the movie. "Your baby's gonna come through" is not being subtle.

.... The bells of Notre Dame is the very opening of the movie isn't it? That's harsh... I know it's not the best, but still... harsh.
Also, Best Hero song is Make a Man out of you, Heracles should've commited more instead of "I would go ALMOST anywhere..." that's loser talk.
edit: I do want to add that I can admire someone who, at the end of day, in a cold and dark winter evening, starts watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame, arrives at the Title card, and says "Well, I've seen all I need to, this was excellent." There is something glorious about that.

Oh man The House is fantastic. I didn't know the project was helmed by a Swedish woman and that Sven Wollter plays a part but that's two other great things about it.
I kind of feel like Totally Spies reputation for being pure fetish fuel is at least a little bit exaggerated. It ignores that the show also has a lot of episodes that aren't horny but are just bizarre, like the one where a guy tries to kidnap all the world's celebrities on a gigantic Bling Jet that can fly so fast that it turns back time a la the first Superman movie (and no, the time travel aspect is not resolved by the end of the episode, yet things are inexplicably back to normal anyway).
And here I thought Venture Brothers had a long time between seasons. Apparently this show started in 2001 and season 6 aired back in 2013 in France and 2015 in North America.

That said, a good number of episodes have the watcher going "oh, that's what turns the lead animator's crank."
Finally watching Final Space. I kind of had to power through season one, but so far season two has seemed to have found a much better balance between wackiness and drama compared to the first season.

I don't know that it quite lives up to standard of bizarre greatness that the pilot set, but it gets like 90% of the way there.
I had fun watching it.
The Halloween episode was fucking hilarious as was the enchanted forest. They really nailed that Rankin Bass creepy hobbit look.
much like mouse quest, it's not a real game
It is pretty much Fetish: The Series, so that's always evergreen.
And theres so many new fetishes now. The writers will have to be in prime condition.

Yeah, y
It very low key irks me that people call it "Anime inspired" because Anime was.... inspired by French animation. So it's more "this is the OG Anime."
Having said that, I kind of agree with the argument: If the women are not drawn slightly over the top horny, is it really French animation?

This is considered children's comics, incidentally.
It IS a children's comic.
And a pretty funny one at that.
Yeah, I have several albums. They're great. Don't know if any more are coming out, though; Tome died in 2019.
oh fuck, i didn't know.
The Tome/Janry era of Spirou (shippuden) is what i grew up on. such good comics.
Le Petit Spirou was also very funny it's true.
