Yeah like, there are only a few ways for me to actually deal with Shuri and I don't necessarily run them in every deck. I don't run them in most decks. Because when I do there's the inevitable Cosmo/Armor protection and half the time I've thrown out a Cosmo to protect my own cards.
Shuri is highly frustrating to play against still, though she is far less ubiquitous now that she isn't a simple auto-win.

5 months from Series 5 to Series 3 is ridiculously long. Even 4 months is too long.
Jeff's breakdown of the new economy said is comes down to:

- The second card is $10 (from the pass)
- The 3rd card is $50 from gold bundles
- The 4th card is $200 from cash to gold to tokens/credits

Because its basically unbeatable unless I have specific cards to counter and even then they usually have armor and cosmo out already so its actually unbeatable. I really don't like Shuri
Oh I know. I was the same. It just feels weird to get vindicated when you finally get that one really dumb card and see the wins flooding in from doing nothing. It's to the point where if I actually wanna see the game to the end I have to hide her behind Invisible Woman
Well, I have a conundrum. I was planning/hoping to wait for Taskmaster to pop up in my free pool 3 cards this season since it would let me run the shuri + she hulk + task deck. However I was offered Dracula today which would be a huge boost to my MODOK deck that I’m currently laddering with. Given the huge amount of cards in pool three and the very few I currently have, I wonder if grabbing Dracula now isn’t the better choice and looking for taskmaster next season.

I actually think this is super cheap for a gacha mobile game. It's also not necessary to have every card as it releases? I think this is the only month where I've actually wanted EVERY card? Like the cost to get every Magic card is pretty fuckin abysmal.
Like 50% of all releases for $10 a month is pretty solid but maybe I'm crazy.
I feel like Magic has to be just one of the worst things to be comparing to for consumer friendly monetization model - not that I've touched in decades?

i feel like i beat shuri a lot now and I win less with shuri, which I know is not real data/information and I'm just cycling through like 8 decks whenever i go on a bad run with one but like, there's a difference between a thing being good and a thing being "why am i even bothering to play"
I'm already pool 3 complete - so I next month my only options for pool 3 cards to grab are either super skrull or valk
Everything being free eventually so long as you play the game regularly in perpetuity; I would much rather play this game for a few months and then be completely done with it and hopefully playing something else that I can pick up and play in small doses - do not need more forever games

The Taskmaster change also means Shuri is more vulnerable to an Aero on 5 into a Shang-Shi. I think Red Skull could easily be a 5/12 or 11 and I'd be surprised if they don't make that change in the next week or so.

I assume it’s because I have been playing patriot to clear the 4 card location wins and triggering the “make all your matches pseudo mirrors” matchmaking. Must have accidentally hit everyone

Enchantress and Killmonger are your friends vs Patriot. Make sure to give up priority on T5 and then hit their Patriot lane with Enchantress or Killmonger if you think they're going Ultron. Bonus points if you play Sera and play both Enchantress and Killmonger.

If they don't like the Shuri Supremacy, they shouldn't give everyone the "Win a location with 20 or more power" as a season mission. Gotta do that 20 times (plus I also have a daily to do it 4 more times), so uh... I guess I'm playing Shuri this weekend.
I don't even want to, but that's going to be the fastest way to get it done win or lose.
Black Panther+Wong+Zola seems easier imo especially if you nail that combo you are probably winning two locations by 20

The devs stated that they made the chances they made to Thanos and Shuri because it was much easier to OTA Shuri changes on the fly because it's just numbers. Glenn Jones even said they considered shipping Red Skull with less power but it's not hard for them to fix it in flight so they wanted to leave it this way.
I do also think with less Thanos Shuri is a lot more vulnerable. Control lists that use Storm and Daredevil are strong into Shuri lists. This is almost certainly not going to happen. You'd have to give her quite a bit of stats back for that.
