I don't see a news post yet and I'm terrible at googling, does anyone have a link to those PA / Fallout tie-in comics where the 1 man and a puppet originated?

https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/One_Man,_and_a_Crate_of_Puppets provides further data, and makes it clear that this is canon.
Personally I want to find out what happened in Vault 43. My money's on the humans, it's just a question of how many were left afterwards.
I'm very unfamiliar with Fallout, but I like the idea that when coming up with concepts for the vault "Okay, but what if we had one Panther with the resident of a vault" was considered a perfectly cromulent idea.
Gotta wonder if they had twice as many men as there were women to see if the dulcinea effect would kick in and the guys would try to fight off the panther.

The Vaults were never meant to save anyone.
