I thought it might be a neat idea to start a sticky thread for review writing. Someone could suggest a game/book/movie/CD at the start of every month for everyone to review. People who watched/read/played the text could post their reviews, and get feedback from others. The thread could also have links to advice on writing reviews, and getting them published. I know that there are a few reviewers who post on these forums, and it'd be nice if they could drop in and give some advice too.
So if someone wants to talk about...say, Doom 3, all they have to do is make a thread and everyone else can post in the thread and offer their opinions on the topic?
What a fantastic idea! I'm surprised no one's ever thought of it before!
I mean a thread dedicated to the craft of review writing; One that will let people improve their non-fiction writing skills, encourage them to write regularly, and provide a resource for them to get their work published (links to websites that accept unsolicited submission, etc.)
Yeah, I see nothing wrong with that, except that your publisher would get pissed upon visiting that forum.

Ok, will do.
