    Is it just me, or do the UN guys seem a bit overpowered? Maybe it's just my playstyle, but I seem to have more success with them than any other faction.

    I did it on the normal SMAC, because I thought maybe the XP/2000 compatibility patch would slow the game down

    it didn't :(

    everything still zips around and you can't follow that shit at all

    Alright Mother fuckers, we have a thread for this here, and a thread in G&T and still nobody can organize a damn game. I'm going to play tonight, starting at 3pm Pacific Time, 6pm Eastern time. You lazy butts can join me or not. I'll post more info when I wake up, like hamachi and vent and shit, I just got done doing inventory at work and I am knackered.

    Fortunately for you (unfortunately for me), I have yet to find said expansion pack anywhere that doesn't want to charge exorbitant prices for it, so I'll be playing vanilla.

    Alright gents, if anyone is interested in playing a game tonight, I'll be idling in the G&T vent (since they have game on channels, and I figured you guys would prefer to not have me hand out the super secret SE++ vent info in a G&T thread). As well as in the hamachi channel PA SMAC password is wang. I'll probably be on vent for a couple hours, but I'll leave the hamachi open so if you feel like kicking my ass or whatnot, join an message me there if I'm not in vent.

    If no one joins me at all I will probably cry, and then try to organize a play by e-mail, much as I hate that style.
