For utter clarity, I am NOT advocating DK's starting with higher than level 1 of any profession, though the nod to First Aid is very much appreciated.
What I'm saying is that "this" (Create Deathknight, travel to capital city, collect junk you've mailed to yourself, skill up tradeskill).
Is MUCH faster and easier than "this" (Create *Non-Deathknight Character*, level from 1 to 50+, travel to capital city, collect junk you've mailed to yourself, skill up tradeskill).
See that "level from 1 to 50+" part? Yeah, that part takes like 96+ hours. The skilling up part? The travelling to the city? Those are like a couple of hours tops.
It's a really simple concept, let's all try to keep on the same page.

I do think that DK's should start of with FA and their first two professions boosted up to some degree.

I think they should start with gathering professions at their level, but not the other kind. It's too much of a free pass, in todays low level mat market, to let them start with like, engineering at 280.
A Deathknight with 270 fishing (like First Aid) would be higher than my main's fishing skill.
/boggle
Mine is 271.
The profession sucks 31 flavors of cocks and this is after numerous changes to make it better.
I actually like fishing, although I do think they should give a bit more incentive to fish. The changes over time have been nice but something along the lines of BoF3 fishing would be fun .
Something that gets you more engaged - sitting there waiting to hear the sound and right click isn't really the most entertaining thing to do, I think everyone can agree on that.

Yeah but how is it fair to make them go get linen cloth and copper ore, thus taking it from the low levels who need it to actually level?
And forcing them to not actually bypass any of that crap.

It'd suck for people who are trying to train up crafting skills. People with gathering skills will be sitting at 1000g by level 30, though.

You speak as if people will be playing other low level characters besides their mains and level 55 DK alts.

Some people do like leveling up characters, as strange as it may sound.
Showing how the class isn't finished yet, Beta DK tester posts a video of getting kited by an Affiction 'Lock. And showing the weakness of the Unholy tree's main form of magic defense, the Anti-magic shell.
I just watched that video and affliction warlocks can do the same exact thing to a paladin or warrior. Devour BoF, reapply CoEx, run, trinket HoJ/rep as necessary and with distance or after cds are blown, fear paladin forever -- one of the most lopsided matches in WoW. Dot warrior into combat, CoEx, deathcoil after he intercepts, trinket hamstring, run and get ready to reapply CoEx after the warrior trinkets -- free 15sec (if war in pvp gear) to get out of intercept distance. Duels aren't balanced and being kited is the reality for solo melee classes. It's completely different when they're in a group. That lock probably has way better PvP gear too.
AMS is pretty broken though. I wonder if they will leave it dispellable. I bet it will be MD'able at the least.

Yeah, dispel an anti magic shield. That makes sense.
If that thread is correct, it does seem to be horrible. It should obviously take a few of the aspects of the paladin bubble. It should only be dispellable by mass dispell, castable while you have no control over your character (though not while spell locked or silenced) and remove all magical effects on you. The time it should last is debatable though.
Awesome! Every time we do Kara on the way to prince someone will comment (ok, I admit it's usually me) about the Skeletal Gryphons and wanting one as a mount.

Goddamnit that sounds cool. If only WoW wasn't so gut-swillingly ugly... Damn you Blizzard!
the graphics in WoW aren't bad at all.
I mean, they can look a little dated compared to say, Age of Conan, but that's the price we pay for being able to chuck it on a six year old laptop and have it run near-perfectly.

I would be so psyched if I could finally convert my lvl 64 troll priest that I hate into the lvl 55 troll mage I always wish I'd rolled instead.
It's currently something like Death Knight

You could do it at some phase in WC3.
I hope Pallies and 'Locks will get their own too.

Sure, the shield is set up to absorb magic. It's not set up to be immune to being dismantled via magic.
I mean, it's MAGIC. It doesn't need to make sense.
It would probably look a lot better if they made it a hippogryph skeleton.
The windrider just looks like a slackjawed retard. The DK flying mount, however, makes me want to LOL at it.
