Protip: Shoot him in the face and then shoot him in the other face
He has two attacks, one of which gives you a dodge prompt and one that he telegraphs for like fifteen seconds and only effects the area directly in front of him

Salazar is the little crazy midget dude right?
He was so easy.
I KNOW, RIGHT?
Through judicious use of capacity upgrades, I usually end up consuming a grand total of maybe two rifle bullets. And he's sitting on top of one of, if not the, biggest ammo caches in the game
Most of the bosses were the easier parts in that game.
Sort of, I guess. Mendez could be slightly tricky. Krauser is pretty variable, sometimes easy, sometimes ridiculous. U3 is a motherfucking asshole on Pro. To say nothing of Verdugo, but that's what the free rocket launcher's for.
But really, all of this pales compared to the crank room.
I upgraded most of my computer recently. Was playing with the spring project a bit to test things out. If you hold down the shift key, and drag while placing a building, you get the same effect. I never noticed before, but I don't build bases so much as subdivisions.
Also switched over to server 2003, because there are a lot of neat services you can plug into it. Of course, because this was done at 8:30 in the morning, and I had yet to finish my coffee, it was installed where all my music used to be.
5 years. 35 gigs of mp3. 7 gigs of flac. 4 gigs of ogg. All of it is gone. I don't mind so much, thanks to stuff like pandora and lastfm, and the whole not having paid for any of it deal. I was going through it all a couple of weeks ago, and stumbled across an old mp3 Janson had made ages ago reading a pamphlet on how to check yourself for testicular cancer, which made me smile and giggle a bit. It's kinda weird that it's the only thing I really miss, cause I know I can replace everything else easily.
So, now that I can actually game on a pc again, for the first time many years, aside from the Orange Box and Supreme Comander, is there anything I need to get, to prevent my geek card from being pulled. Not too into western RPG.
