Oh hey, a note for anyone interested in Ralph or Sue Dibny; the DCU Halloween Special shines a bit of a spotlight on them, having them narrate the stories, as well as having their own little Ghost Detective adventure. Overall, it's alright, but there's really no one of note working on it, aside from Brian Reed, Duncan Rouleau, and Dennis Calero. I only bought it for the Dibnys, Rouleau's story, and a brief appearance by Jack T. Chance.
Horrifyingly enough, Dan Didio actually wrote Sue and Ralph in the introduction. Which seems vaguely perverse.
Marvel and Bendis were very upfront about what the Avengers tie-ins were going to be like
Eh, I dont really follow comic book news much, so I might have missed their proclamation of intent. But I dont mind the ideas behind the books, just I find the execution lacking abit. Which isnt a big deal, just abit dissapointed, thats all. No need to get flustered
I am flustered because we had a staff meeting today so I wasnt able to go buy comics at lunch and OF COURSE its the week Secret Invasion comes out rahahrhagajsdhjaha
that "get mystique" one from a while ago? yeah i liked it a lot. i'm still really anxious to read his ghost rider and i've got the new scalped trade on standby for the plane tomorrow.
i did not realize that final crisis and secret invasion both came out today though. i only grabbed criminal and the new daredevil trade before i had to run and catch my bus. i'll have to wait till next week to get them i guess, since i'll be out of town.

.
No, Get Mystique was a fill in arc he did on the Wolverine title
But he has a new miniseries called Wolverine: Manifest Destiny, that the first issue came out today.
Get Mystique was awesome though yes, love Ron Garney.

god jake when are you gonna get some taste
when I get you the first Titans trade for Christmas, I guess
I read the first trade. It was alright but I didn't feel like I had to rush out and pick up the next one but I probably will at some point.
"If A is true, that means B is true as well, which makes it safe to conclude that X is correct as well."
The leaps of logic in that series are staggering.
Also, thank god Secret Invasion is ending soon. The story got so decompressed, that i feel like i am reading empty pages in all the Avenger titles....
Take that, Bale. My DC and Marvel books were equal this week. :P
dont read them!
Mighty I haven't been keeping up with
Marvel and Bendis were very upfront about what the Avengers tie-ins were going to be like
And yes, I agree with you, Bale. I actually think the tie-ins were pretty well handled, personally.

So like most of the other issues than.
man that is good comix doggies
I swear that man was born to write Wolverine, please let Marvel give him the ongoing after Millar is done.
Also the art was awesome, a really cool Leinil Yu vibe, and some really interesting panel layouts.

If you saw these pages cold, wouldnt you assume it was Yu?
i had not heard about manifest destiny though. what's it about so far?
So it's good? cause I did not pick up that Storm one mostly because I don't like Storm.
but I do like Wolverine, the art is rad, and it's fucking Jason Aaron
so yes, it's good and I reccomend it
Sold, I didn't get to the store yesterday so I'm going in a couple of hours
Because that is uncanny.
