James Franco was the best thing in Pineapple Express.
no, that's not a gag reel. a gag reel is the actors messing up, and it's usually 70% actors giggling over fucking up which is not that funny and 30% them rolling with it which is goddamn hilarious.
and pineapple express wasn't that great, but I swear to god that single cutaway line "Has anyone seen my bigger knife?" had me fucking rolling with laughter

The knife line made me lose it too
I don't know why but it was just too much
I really enjoyed the movie as a whole
and while Tropic Thunder was good, it seemed more like a bunch of very funny moments strung together, rather than one coherent funny movie, if that makes any sense
I thought Tropic Thunder was really bad. It was all overblown and overproduced just like the movies it was making fun of so I can't tell if it was being really meta or they just fucked up. But either way I didn't think it was that funny. Pineapple Express was freaking awesome though.
Speaking of Clint Eastwood, i just saw Dirty Harry. Clint is the shit.

you mean the thing where he's "playing the lead" and he gets all angry and storms out?

i heard it described as a inverted version of the karate kid
old white man teaches asian youth to stand up to bullies and each learns valuable life lessons etc.

I literally was in danger of throwing up from laughter at some parts
I couldn't walk right because my sides hurt so much
I should watch that again tonight actually I just bought it
not nearly as good as I expected, and except for a few golden moments it was pretty standard comedy fare
I agree with fari about pineapple express

he was laughing so hard he was wheezing
anyone who disagrees is stupid
Paul Rudd.
My parents were laughing at Robert Downey Jr. most consistently
other stuff was kind of hit or miss with them
it's not out here yet but the only reason I'm seeing it is because I have a gigantic crush on Paul Rudd
i was like "oh man tom cruise killed me" and he's like "when was tom cruise in that movie?"
still hilarious
at one point I turned around and a few rows back was this couple in their late 50s or early 60s who were cracking the fuck up at everything
are you kidding
that was one of the funniest scenes ever in anything
I was on the ground if I remember right
Yes
exactly this
For some reason I didn't find that scene very funny at all and neither did anyone else.
Pony I never got around to you in the forumer opinions but you are a really solid guy in my book

It might have been funnier if it wasn't one of the most over-played songs of the year.
you're stupid
you no longer get to talk ever
